VC's blowing their own trumpet is my favourite genre of content. I'm afraid Lightspeed can't go anywhere. With $1.6 billion sunk in troubled companies like Byju's, Udaan, Apna, Sharechat, Teachmint and an ever growing shoddy portfolio, LSVP will be clobbered if they leave.

$1m ARR co. Tried to raise bridge round at $30m cap. Little interest. Changed “bridge” to “pre Series A”, raised cap to $60m, waited a month to ensure metrics still strong, went to raise again. Oversubscribed 2x. Never underestimate the importance of narrative and confidence.
