Sylvia Jones, why isn’t Ontario rolling out updated COVID vaccines in late August or early September, before children return to school? Why make the general public wait until October 26? My husband and I normally gets vaccinated. Now he’s very sick with COVID again. We were on a vaccine waiting list and now we’re sick. Earlier access to COVID vaccines helps protect families from serious illness. Ontarians deserve better. Doug Ford has failed Ontario.

Cornell is not an isolated event. This hits hard particularly because it's from a musician. Abuse, harassment, discrimination and retaliation are far too common in the music industry. @artsmed @ukbapam @aspah_aus facebook.com/share/v/19hznpP…

Ontario Update: 1) Every major teachers' union is about to go on strike 2) Ford is spending $48 million of your $ on ripping up bike lanes 3) Ontario has biggest deficit in its history and smallest funding per person on education and healthcare 4) The new subway line is billions over budget Tell us again about Conservatives fiscal responsibility?

PISA found record-low performance in reading and maths across the OECD ... ...but some countries bucked the trend, improving their science scores by more than 30 points, equivalent to over 1.5 years of learning: ➡️ Cambodia ➡️ Georgia ➡️ Jordan ➡️ Montenegro ➡️ Uzbekistan

Can't wait to have access to this in Canada. I've reached out to @SHIONOGI_JP to ask about whether a submission has been made or is planned
Xocova, post-exposure prophylaxis against COVID, is finally starting to have substantial availability in the U.S. Five days worth of pills you take right after exposure, cuts odds of getting COVID.

If Premier Ford is serious about defending Canada, he will cancel the Staples deal. @fordnation @MaritStiles
Then explain this: your government just made American-owned Staples the exclusive vendor for every teacher's $750 classroom supply card, so not one of those dollars can go to a Canadian business. Buy Ontario means cancel the Staples deal. It's common sense.

He should also cancel Metrolinx, the spa, the 413, all health care contracts done to the US, 7-11/Couche Tard booze in corner stores, re-establish the LCBO as a huge revenue generator, fly commercial not private jet , fund health care and education properly etc etc etc etc etc

Can we start with cancelling your new deal with Staples and all the other provincial programs you’ve sold off to the US this past year? #onpoli
Ontario and Canada have everything we need here at home to build a stronger, more competitive economy that is standing up to tariffs and protecting our workers.

#DougFord sent a $9B contract for Ontario Line trains to the States, and cut Ontario content rules from 25% to 10%. You can't claim to be captain Canada while sending Canadian jobs to the US during a #tradewar #onpoli #NDP

Ford wants you to think he’s fighting the US.  Let’s talk about what he actually did with your public services:  Privatized employment services → US firm Fedcap. WSIB outsourcing → US firms BetterUp + Iron Mountain. ServiceOntario in Staples/Walmart → US corporations. It’s not “for the people.” It’s for the contracts. #ONpoli

Take Doug Ford’s sudden tough-guy routine with a giant grain of salt. This is grandstanding. His numbers are tanking, and if an election were held today, he could be in serious trouble. So what better opportunity to wrap himself in the Canadian flag, pick a fight with Trump and sell himself as Captain Canada? And let’s not be fooled Ford has openly expressed admiration for Trump in the past. He said it himself. I’m not buying the performance. Doug Ford will say whatever benefits Doug Ford. Trump loves political theatre. So does Ford. It’s all a game don’t confuse grandstanding with leadership.

Premier @fordnation , actions speak louder than tweets. Why are you and @PaulCalandra giving $60,000,000 of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars to the American company @StaplesStores? Do you want us to buy Ontario and buy Canada or not?
To protect Ontario workers from President Trump’s tariffs, buy Ontario and buy Canadian whenever and wherever you can.

Premier @fordnation is about to funnel $60,000,000 Ontario taxpayer dollars to the American @StaplesStores as part of his new school supplies scheme. Cancel this deal and give Ontario educators the right to buy supplies from Canadian retailers and local businesses! #onted
Never underestimate Canada. Premier @fordnation does not mince words: "Ronald Reagan would be disgusted with President Trump." Everything is on the table.

Is this Doug Ford's priority while you can't afford your groceries? Nearly $3,000 on luxury all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, and his party won't say a word about what it was for. That's your money too. He's got to answer for this. thetrillium.ca/news/politics…

The NYT announced Covid causes immunodeficiency like HIV/AIDS in 2020. We heard “the model for HIV treatment, a cocktail of antiviral drugs, may be a good bet for those with mild illness,” & then we never did that. This is precisely why everyone has cancer now.
I listened to this @nytimes podcast so you don’t have to torment yourself w their ignoring the 🐘 🐘 in the room. Sure, processed foods, alcohol, smoking, & E. coli are not healthy. But are they the *main* drivers of the surge of new, aggressive, odd cancers in young people? 🤔
