What I want to say about the distributing fanfics discourse dragging into fanfic vs fanart is that the fanart space is just lucky they don’t have an Anne Rice incident in their history. Imagine one day all the IP holders decide to sue you for your fanarts.

As an ao3 author, here's my take on the strange discourse going around about stories being shared on drives: I wrote it for free, I put it on the internet for free, I assumed that meant people were reading, sharing, and downloading for free If I published a book, my expectation

unlicensed people talking about transformative works lol. the only reason fanfiction has any right to exist is because it has no material benefit to the creator. the second you argue that you have legal protection, you lose your fair use defense and you're the infringer.

Qlipoth being a fat anime girl (no Varesa isn’t fat) by HYV would be generational and the ONLY one I’d support being an anime girl if they can be fat, but we all know that’s impossible by HYV standards

if you’re a fan of other Aeon, I think you should start worrying about your own Aeon, because after seeing what Mihoyo did to Elation, I’ve officially checked myself into the asylum
