Great podcast @sustainableish! Really inspired by the episode about @shrewsburycup scheme. Imagine if every town in the UK chose #reusable!
'Devizes Cup'.. has a nice ring doesn't it? 🤔🤞

If you want to make memories & save the environment this #Christmas, experiences are a great choice 🙌😊
Consider gifting:
🎁 A rock climbing experience
🎀 Spa trip
🎁 Art workshop
🎀 Tickets to a football match
🎁 Meal at their favourite restaurant

It’s #PlasticFreeTuesday! The plastic we use for minutes - bottles, bags, straws, cups - can last in landfill or the environment for years. When we refuse unnecessary plastic, reuse, or refill, we lead by example, send a message, and make a difference. Join us! Are you in? 💪🌏🌊
Not easy. I've avoided buying any wrapping paper this year, using up bits and pieces from previous years and also using plain brown paper tied with ribbon or string, which is kinda rustically pretty.
Christmas can make it particularly hard to avoid #plastic 🎅🌲 Crackers, wrapping paper, decorations & gifts all contain plastic 😞
#Xmas dinner ingredients are often wrapped in plastic as well!
So, what are you doing to reduce plastic for #Christmas2021? @PlasticPollutes
Really Quite Dense 🤣 Hilarious.

Thank you for submitting your audition for the next series of #LineofDuty but we’re looking for a character with at least one redeeming moral principle and a performance that places even just a scintilla of doubt in the audience’s mind that he might not be totally bent

Turns out #christmas #redcups turn into rubbish after 15 minutes just like any other #singleusecup - get a great #takeaway from any of our fab #indie cafes in @shrewsburycup to stop this nonsense
Reusables are the way ⬆️ excited to find out more about the incredible achievements of @shrewsburycup and see what we can achieve here in Devizes 💪@SustainDevizes

This is a handy weekly reminder to think before buying...
Every little helps. This week we bought beeswax food wrapping for school lunches. No more rolls of foil/film🎉
It’s #PlasticFreeTuesday! Let’s choose to refuse what we don’t need, reuse wherever possible, and rethink the way we consume. Let’s take the opportunity to be intentional with our choices. Are you in? 💪🌍🌊
Alas, yes it is.
'tis the season of shopping for things we don't need. This year, consider joining the #BuyNothingDay challenge. If you need something or want to shop for gifts, we encourage shopping secondhand and supporting small, local businesses. (credit: @1millionwomen)
Dental floss is essentially a long piece of very thin string. So why does it need the hard #plastic box? It doesn't need protecting, it's not going to leak...Time for businesses like @OralB to be smart and proactive to reduce #plasticwaste.

Some positive news this morning 🤞
Single-use plastic plates and cutlery could be banned in England.

I love that Rethink is first on the list here. We all need to stop and think, and that can be hard when the easy option is just so damn easy. How many of us though see recycling as the LAST option? #plasticpollution
On #NationalRecyclingDay, let's acknowledge that recycling should be the LAST result. We can't recycle our way out of the plastic pollution crisis. We need REAL upstream solutions.

#COP26 is the 1.5°C still alive? If it is, it is on life support.
