Watching people STILL insist the Patterson-Gimlin film is genuine, even after all these years and the recent revelations, is like listening to people who STILL believe Bob Lazar or the Roswell UFO story.
Once a belief becomes part of someone’s identity, no amount of contrary evidence seems capable of changing their mind.

So, I read all of Jay Stratton's book.
I would say the only thing useful I got out of it was a clearer understanding of how this entire "disclosure" movement happened over the past decade.
He provides zero evidence. Lots of stories but nothing in the way of actual evidence.
He offers no real insight into the phenomenon itself. He repeats many bits of UFO lore we have all heard before. Again with no evidence.
He doesn't appear to have learned anything about the "legacy program" above and beyond some stories Lockheed's Ryder told him.
If he saw real evidence, we haven't seen any of it in these tranches with the exception maybe that one weird moon photo.
He includes non-UFO material from Skinwalker Ranch and his personal experiences which, frankly, I don't think helps his arguments for nuts and bolts craft threatening military facilities. If there's supposed to be a connection between physical technogical craft and paranormal ghost stories I was unable to glean that connection.
He doesn't seem to have any insight about where they come from or their technology. Apparently he never got access to any of that information.
At the end of the day it sounds like the "legacy program" retains an iron fist and complete control over everything; which is why their "disclosure" effort has all been a bunch of weak sauce so far. He never got the goods.
If you measure "disclosure" as people in positions of power and authority saying it's real, well then we got disclosure.
If you measure disclosure as seeing real hard evidence. Don't hold your breath.

Crashing out over not getting an editorial board endorsement is a classic campaign death spiral. #NY22

If Lula wins, remember he will have won overcoming a very clear and organised campaign of voter suppression…
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva came from behind to win Brazil’s runoff election, halting a right-wing wave sweeping Latin America and defying predictions that the 80-year-old political veteran had finally reached the end of his extraordinary career. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

After being cruelly used by the Ramaswami campaign, Amy Acton’s clearly distressed mother has reportedly been living with her cats in her car in a church parking lot in Pennsylvania. Did the Ramaswami campaign make any effort to improve the plight of this elderly woman they so ruthlessly exploited?

Trump swaggered into Georgia right before the midterms, breathlessly announcing a huge new Audi factory, a massive win for the state he claimed. Here's the receipt: Audi had absolutely no such announcement, no plans to build a plant in Georgia, and no knowledge of this supposed commitment. This wasn't just campaign exaggeration; it was a bald-faced fabrication, invented out of thin air just days before an election, banking on voters not checking if a major international corporation actually agreed to a multi-billion dollar investment during a political rally. It perfectly illustrates how quickly reality gets benched for a headline grab, promising prosperity that only exists in a speech bubble, all while the people who supposedly value "truth" never question the actual facts. thehill.com/homenews/state-w…
An easy way to confirm that the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot rehearsal footage came before the famous version? Just look at the foliage.
Compare the lush, green vegetation in the Norma rehearsal footage (PGRF) with the sparse, fading autumn vegetation in the Patterson-Gimlin Film (PGF).
Roger Patterson had the camera from May until November 1967, when he returned it following his release from jail after keeping it several months beyond its rental deadline.
The Norma footage appears to have been filmed during the spring or summer, when the vegetation was green and lush. The PGF was filmed on October 20, when the foliage had already begun changing with the arrival of autumn.
The foliage adds to the story. The rehearsal came first.

NEW:
Archbishop Jeffrey Grob of Milwaukee apologized on Sunday for praying over President Trump in the Oval Office last week, and he accused the White House of posting video of the prayer without the bishops’ consent.
Writing to Catholics from the Dominican Republic, he said the administration had manipulated “something so sacred” into a political photo opportunity twelve days before the midterms. thelettersfromleo.com/p/arch…

I want every dog owner to hear this: every dog who has violently attacked me, someone I know, or a dog I was walking had an owner that assured me this never happens and their dog is safe. Your assessment of your own dog means nothing to me. I don’t trust you to evaluate your dog’s safety. Just put it on a damn leash, and don’t be a tiny woman with a dog that can easily overpower you. I don’t care how well you “know your dog”. That’s what every owner of a shitty dog says.
I genuinely do think there are a lot of basically good people who have never really thought about the ways in which they are behaving badly as dog owners, because nobody ever really calls them out for it.
If your dog is ever off leash, you are being antisocial and behaving badly. If your dog ever jumps on somebody who didn’t specifically ask for that to happen, then you are behaving antisocially (even if the dog is just being “friendly”). If you have an invisible fence in your yard, but your dog comes running right up to the line at full speed only to stop at the last minute and bark at everybody who walks by, then you are behaving antisocially. Honestly, even behind a fence, this is an aggressive and annoying imposition on anybody walking by.
If somebody has ever respond with fear or annoyance at something your dog has done and you’ve reflexively protested, “oh don’t worry, he won’t hurt you” or “he’s friendly” then that’s antisocial behavior. (You should just simply say, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that, I won’t let it happen again” and then you should work to actually make it not happen again. Telling people not to worry, that you think your dog is just peachy, is bad behavior.)
This is all bad behavior. It’s all antisocial. And I have these experiences with dogs and their owners routinely. This is all extremely common stuff.
