Word travels fast in the forest. Baby Mwezi’s first day out with the Umani herd was a great success!
Murera gave birth in the middle of the night, tucked up in her stockade, but word still got out quickly in Kibwezi Forest. So quickly that, come dawn, all the wild-living orphans were waiting to meet her.
In case you missed yesterday’s news: bathed in the light of a near-full moon, Murera gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She chose to deliver in her stockade, the place that has been her night-time sanctuary all these years. The whole thing was seamless, and mother and baby are both marvellous.
More to come, but we wanted to share Mwezi’s first moments with you. (Her name means ‘moon’ in Swahili!)
In the meantime, reacquaint yourself with Murera’s miraculous story: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/o…

I had to do a double-take on this story this morning. I mean … it couldn’t possibly be true … right?
Seems that it is. 😳
🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in North Carolina after an HOA just DOUBLED monthly fees to **$2,500/MONTH** for homeowners who were paying just $158/month just five years ago...
...and the homeowners say the HOA board tried to charge homeowners $7,500/MONTH JUST IN HOA FEES!!!!!!!
On Monday night, the board backed off $7,500...
...but voted to DOUBLE fees to $2,500 a month instead.
Yes, $30,000 a year just to LIVE IN YOUR HOME THAT YOU BOUGHT.
Nearly SIXTEEN TIMES what families were paying a few years ago.
Families who bought what they thought were their forever homes are now being told to pay $30,000 a year in HOA fees, or GO INTO FORECLOSURE!!!!!!
The neighborhood is Magnolia Cove in Sherrills Ford, Catawba County NC.
Jill Menson and her husband bought their house believing it would be their LAST home and five years ago, their HOA fee was $158 a month.
This summer it shot up to more than $1,200.
Plus a $10,000 ASSESSMENT on top of that.
On Monday night, the HOA board voted to raise fees AGAIN, from $1,250 to $2,500 a month.
That’s nearly SIXTEEN TIMES what they paid five years ago.
And the meeting?
It was held over ZOOM.
Menson says they’ll be forced out with nowhere to go, because no one will buy a house carrying fees like that.
So they went to the state for help.
The North Carolina Attorney General’s office told Channel 9 there are NO STATUTES limiting how much an HOA can charge.
None.
As long as the board follows its own documents, it can charge whatever it wants.
In Jill Menson’s words:
“Nobody is helping us.”
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!
What did I just watch? 😂
Nothing validates hours of untangling patent transfers and Stanford biodefense contracts quite like seeing someone translate your exact reporting into an unhinged, psychotronic musical.
This Kenny Rogers + Elizabeth Holmes + Larry Ellison fever dream is an iconic interpretation of the piece.

The Cat Ba langur (also known as the golden-headed langur) is one of the rarest primates on Earth. It lives only on Cat Ba Island in Northern Vietnam and nowhere else in the wild.
There are only about 70 to 80 individuals left in existence.

Um. No. You don’t get to limit the topics, narc. This is all started when I simply stated I had the opposite experience as you on Shawn Ryan. That was it. I did not discuss it on my podcast. I did not trash talk you. I used X for exactly what it’s designed for. You then started this narrative that my one tweet was me “inserting” myself, and pretended you were under attack and there was some larger conspiracy. As if you didn’t know people are allowed to share opinions on X.
You and I had a long conversation via DM which proved to me that you completely misrepresented your experience on Shawn Ryan’s show. That experience is the ground zero of this entire back/forth. We can of course discuss your trash AI research into Glacier App but we will at first address the real reason you created that trash research in the first place: because you tweak out when people notice you lie, plagiarize, and crash out on X spaces.
And yes, all of your claims about who and what you are remain relevant and on the table miss CIA/NSA contractor— because it will take me all of 15 minutes to demonstrate to the public that you are a fraud, and you lie pathologically about your life and experiences with people.
Shawn Ryan’s outside investments have absolutely nothing to do with me and I have never discussed them. People are free to dislike Shawn Ryan, his investments, and everything about him. Doesn’t change the fact that you’re a liar who targets people who notice.

How about instead we put Huckabee in prison and have someone else who actually cares about America do his job.
Ambassador Huckabee, this is unreleased video of an American who was beaten almost to death last week by Israeli settlers. You know his name because he came to you for help, but you blew him off. That’s disgraceful. Do your job.

Why Do You LIE With Such Ease. They Were NOT Anti-ICE Protesters Mikey. They Are Anti Erika.
Today, TPUSA hosted an event for middle and high school students, teaching them about faith, freedom, and the greatness of America.
Outside, anti-ICE protesters were flipping off passing cars.
One group was teaching kids to love their country. The other was protesting outside a school attended by children as young as 11.
The contrast between the left and the right will always speak for itself.

“I published the wrong draft”?
Totally NOT what she did told Drey.
The gaslighting and inconsistencies are just too much.
Wanted to come on since I had seen some posts circulating about my Midterms Prediction article. I published the wrong draft of my midterm predictions article on Substack last night. It was an old draft I started weeks ago, before everything with Shawn Ryan happened. I updated the numbers and graphics this week, then accidentally hit publish on the old file.
I caught it within 20 minutes and took it down. I was on a flight, so the corrected version took a bit longer to go up, but it was live before the screenshots and posts started circulating. It has a note at the top showing what changed. If you read it in your email, please use the link instead.
For anyone who missed it, the piece is my predictions for who I think will win and why. It was meant to be fun and to get people talking, not report on what is happening.
The mistake is mine, and I own it and I immediately unpublished it and corrected it. If you ever spot something wrong in my work, tell me and I’ll fix it.
If you’re sharing the old version, please share the corrected one instead. It’s on my Substack, linked in my bio.
Replies are off so this stays a correction, not a debate. Now back to work, because it’s a big week for America!

Fox News to Trump rally attendee: "Why are you here this morning?"
Attendee: "Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front."
Fox: "Okay. So maybe this is not a Trump supporter."

I believe in independent media. We need more independent researchers and more independent voices, which is why I’ll always root for people doing this work outside the big outlets. That being said, the people doing this work have to genuinely care about the information they put out and about the people receiving it. Otherwise we’re no better than the media conglomerates people come to us to escape.
The Leah Files just sent her midterm predictions to more than 41,000 subscribers, and I’m one of them. As I read through the post, I couldn’t help but notice her numbers were dramatically different from what I’d seen in the FEC filings this week. Her post is missing more than half of James Talarico’s fundraising. It ends by telling readers to look up everything on their ballot at her funding guide before they vote, and that guide says Maine’s Democratic Senate nominee “has reported raising nothing” when the FEC shows he’s raised $26.9 million.
On top of that, her maps are missing states. New York and Rhode Island are gone, and “RC” isn’t a real state. They also list people who aren’t on the ballot. Oklahoma says “Nuzzell,” who isn’t running, and Florida says DeSantis, who’s term-limited. Indiana doesn’t even have a governor’s race this year, and it says “Britzker.” That’s especially dangerous with early voting already underway.
When I asked her about it, she said it was published a few weeks ago, even though the post was only two hours old at the time. Then my note correcting her numbers was gone.
And look, nobody expects any of us to be perfect. Digging through all of these files and keeping everything straight in your head is a really tough job, and I get that more than anyone. But telling your readers to use a website you made before they vote, when it’s full of outdated and wrong numbers, is where I draw the line. If independent media is going to be better than the outlets we’re pushing against, we have to get the facts right.

📢🚨 VIEWER REQUESTED BALLISTIC TEST: A viewer following the Charlie Kirk investigation kept asking me to test one particular question.
Watch Now: youtu.be/l64IXuWgCaU
Then he actually sent me the ballistic dummies to do it.
So I tested 5.56 and .30-06 against the neck, vertebrae and skull.
Could a projectile actually stop in the neck?
Instead of arguing about it, I wanted to SEE what happens. This was a fun one.
Limitations:
I only had 100 yards to work with (I note ft-lbs difference in the video)
3 degree slope vs 6
