According to .@Grok here are the steps to implement a Python script (you don't need to know Python, Grok Bot does it for you) into your repeating Grok Bots tasks so that the Bot doesn't have to start from scratch each run.
Here’s what that tip means, in plain language.
The basic idea If you have a task you do every day (or on a regular schedule), don’t keep telling your Grok Bot “do this for me” from scratch every single time.
Instead:
Ask the bot once to write a Python script that does the job.
Then set up a routine that just runs that script on a schedule.
You get the same result, but it uses far less of your Grok Bot usage/quota.
Why this uses less “usage”Every time you ask a Grok Bot to do something, it has to think, plan, and write out its reasoning. That thinking costs usage.A Python script is just code.
Once it’s written, running the script is quick and cheap — the bot mostly just executes the code instead of re-thinking the whole task from scratch every day.
How to actually do it (step by step)
Step 1: Create or pick a Grok Bot
You need a bot that will own this job. If you already have one that fits (for example, a “daily tasks” or “automation” bot), use that. Otherwise create a new one.
Step 2: Ask the bot to write the script
Tell it something like:
“Write a Python script that [describe the exact task]. Save it as a file I can run later. Make it self-contained so it can be run on a schedule without extra instructions.” Example tasks people automate this way:
Check a website or RSS feed and summarize new items
Pull numbers from a spreadsheet or API and create a daily report
Clean up or rename files in a folder
Send a formatted summary of something
The bot will write the code and save the file on its computer.
Step 3: Test the script once
Ask the bot to run the script once and show you the result so you know it works correctly.
Step 4: Create a routine that runs the script
Tell the bot:
“Create a routine that runs this Python script every day at [time]. Just execute the script and send me the output.”
A routine is a saved prompt + schedule that the bot runs automatically even when you’re not chatting with it.
Simple exampleTask you repeat:
“Every morning, check my Google Sheet of garden notes and tell me what needs watering today.”
What you do instead:
Ask the bot to write a Python script that reads the sheet and figures out the watering list.
Once the script works, tell the bot:
“Make a routine that runs this script every day at 7 a.m. and messages me the results.”
After that, the bot just runs the script on schedule. You don’t have to ask it again, and it uses much less usage.
Quick tips
Be specific when you ask for the script (what exactly should it do, what format do you want the output in, etc.).
Start with something simple so you can see the pattern.
The bot can also update or improve the script later if the task changes.
Oopsss... a change in how much Grok Bot usage we get. I know a few who will feel the pain, and I can already hear the groaning

I wish, OH HOW I WISH, the "Republican Party" had half the "dangly bits" the Democrats have in their ruthless pursuit of party.
Instead, we get Uniparty Swamp
I don't know about you but I'm so stinkin' tired of activist Liberal judges believing they rule the presidency.
Judge Jennifer Rochon called it "purely partisan" and ordered this video scrubbed from every government website and social account, days before the election.
.gov may have to "scrub it" be you and I can spread it everywhere. A digital version of TPing Judge Rochon's yard with toilet paper - it is Halloween after all.
