The Wall Street Journal reports that after First Lady Melania Trump complained about people she knew getting deported, the president would tell aides that the architect of his aggressive immigration campaign, Stephen Miller, had gone too far.
Republicans in Texas and Florida privately complained to the White House as well.

You completely lack a theory of mind and basic biological threat detection if you don’t feel like there’s a problem here. It is quite easy to see the descent into radical politics here: the left will race to flood the country with foreigners and their ranks with co-ethnics. The right at some point has to realise that it’s untenable to keep losing elections to demographics and consider actually deporting entire communities and denaturalising people like Sayed. Obviously this will be met by even more radicalism from the left who want the opposite. Thus an arms race to the bottom until one side consolidates its position and extinguishes the other so as to achieve their goals forever
It really is remarkable that the ballots on issues republicans like to make noise about all largely passed, even in deep blue states, while those same republicans were largely rejected.
People like John Doyle are bloviating idiots who have been wrong all year long and they will smugly insist they need to be taken more seriously
You must understand that Americans, like anyone, are self-interested. If you risk their access to Mexican food, they’ll punish you. If their gas is more expensive, they’ll punish you.
They are not ideologues, nor was this actually about whatever pet issue literally everyone, depending on their personal brand of pet issue, will claim it’s about.
We need to generally be playing a very tight game, and whatever trauma we have from leftist or neocon (tautology) cancel culture has convinced us to entertain people within our coalition who are at best unstable and at worst just subversives. No successful political movement has ever done that, much less an insurgent one.
Fortunately, these people don’t have any real influence. But if we treat them like they do and engage in their ideological masturbation rituals then we risk distracting from what Americans actually care about, which again are simply QOL increases and not having their liberal sensibilities too offended. Fair enough.

If we can gloss over the race bait part of the video I just have to point out that women are just not scared of men in any way that they report to be. This broad just keeps sticking herself between fighting men multiple times with zero concern for the consequences.

Bolsonaro stronghold regions had already closed their polling stations. My understanding from elections past is that once the vote is finalized in the machine you can’t just turn it back on for more voting. Leftist areas did not shut off their machines or close polling stations. They were prepared. This is an attempt to steal the election.
