Do you know that FIDE rated tournaments organized in Nigeria can now be rated on the Nigeria Chess Rating system as well? Alimosho U-16 Rated Masters has just been processed. We are still in beta, organisers are welcome to submit results.

My first FIDE-rated tournament at the Creekside Chess Club Classical ended today. Lost all my remaining games against much higher rated opponents🥴 Final score: 2.5/7 Disappointing, but i'll be better🚀

Good games. I really give respect to those that play OTB tournaments. The time , The energy and the money you spend to play them is alot. I’m really happy you did. You’ll do better next time, playing OTB tournaments is one of the fastest ways to improve. Especially classical

My first OTB FIDE-rated tournament is officially over. Finished with 2.5/7. Not the result I hoped for, but it's all part of the journey. I met new people, connected with fellow chess players, and finally got to meet some of my mutuals in person. The experience was worth it.
