The Climate Smart Jobs (CSJ) Programme Close-Out at and Sustainability Forum at the #MCIMediaHub concluded with a Shark Tank session showcasing ideas for sustaining successful models, followed by judges’ feedback and the announcement of the Awards.
On Saturday 24th October 2026, we partnered with @SpiceFMHoima to convene a one-day District Dialogue in Hoima.

The Hoima City Lord Councilors have joined in the Outdoor Spice Parliament, where today’s theme is The State of Feeder Roads in Hoima City. 🛣️
This platform played a crucial role in amplifying grassroots concerns, embedding verified citizen evidence into governance processes to ensure transparency and inclusivity.
This initiative was in partnership with @dw_akademie and the @EUinUG.

At the CSJ Programme CloseOut and Sustainability Forum, The British Council Program Responsible Honour reflected on the programme’s ambitions and legacy.
He emphasized the need to build on progress made,sustain policy ambitions, &establish clear pathways for continued ownership.
Following this, a panel held brought together 6 operational champions to share their experiences, reflect on results, and discuss plans for sustainability.

The breakout sessions during the CSJ Forum today created space for stakeholders to reflect on key learnings, share experiences, and exchange perspectives on the programme’s impact. 🌱

Through our media partnership with @csjuganda, we helped bring this information closer to farming communities while integrating a climate lens into ongoing @WIIGOT_Ug
As noted, access to reliable information was key to enabling farmers to make better-informed decisions.
The #MCIMediaHub came alive with exhibit spaces showing Climate Smart Jobs (CSJ) Programme’s work across different sectors from labour and media to agroforestry and more.🌱
