.@DavidCCrowley: We need your 3 Ts. We need your time. We need your talent. I usually say the last piece is treasure, but we'll make an executive decision and turn that third T into turnout. We may not have billionaires, but we got something better. We've got you.
Here's what you need to take away from the article:
1.) VP Harris is sticking to the proper party line: getting more Democrats elected above anything else. Perhaps that's a consequence of her profile, but she has the luxury of being selective and highly targeted in where she can help.
2.) The disconnect between the party intelligentsia and the average Democrat will eventually come to a head. For every scum consultant with a vested interest in forcing her out, there's a connection to the party's electorate that they cannot simply wish away. Democrats... want to see her. Certain circles don't like admitting it, but she remains broadly popular among Democrats.
3.) She's very aware of the games taking place around her. And she went out of her way to address them, and made it clear that those preoccupied with themselves will suffer the consequences.
4.) The argument we've been making in these parts for nearly a year is beginning to surface elsewhere: that some of the opposition to another Harris candidacy may have less to do with her losing in 2024 and more to do with the prospect of having to compete against her in 2028.
5.) Whether you want to admit it or not, much of the emerging 2028 field is operating in the shadow of what she may or may not decide to do.

Honored to be joined by Former Vice President Kamala D. Harris tonight in Milwaukee.
The stakes are high in this race, and every vote counts to keep a MAGA extremist out of the governor’s office.

Kamal Harris is someone who has never stopped learning and adjusting. She has become a better speaker and campaigner with every election cycle.
Replying to @IsaacDovere
@IsaacDovere: "It was interesting — we did the interview, and then we turned off the recorder, said thanks for the interview, [we're] getting up to go, and she said, 'I actually want to say something else.'
She told me to turn the recorder back on. And what she said is, 'A lot of people are running just to look in the mirror. We need people who are going to look at the American people and what they want.'"

New: Gov. Greg Abbott must let his political opponent, Gina Hinojosa, review more than 1,000 pages of his unredacted communications with Elon Musk, a Travis County Dem judge rules.
Abbott likely to appeal before Hinojosa reviews anything. #txlege

.@jamestalarico: The problem with Ken Paxton is not that he didn't grow up in Texas. It's that he doesn't understand Texas. I believe anyone can be a Texan. It doesn't matter if you're an 8th generation Texan like me, or if you just got here. What makes a Texan is deep in the heart. Texas used to be known as the friendly state. Friendship is our official state motto. The word Texas comes from a Native American word for 'friend.' They used that word to describe a friend in a different tribe. Friendship across tribes. Friendship across divisions. That's what makes Texas so great.
If elected, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate @jamestalarico would represent more Black Americans than any other senator in the country.

"She kept working the phones, whether calling a range of advocates and asking what she could have done differently in her abbreviated presidential run, or checking in with candidates like Texas Senate Democratic nominee James Talarico, to whom she offered some advice over how to manage the ongoing criticism from his former primary opponent, Rep. Jasmine Crockett."

There are 2.4 million registered voters in Harris County. Despite a record number of voters, that means most of you still haven't voted. Don't wait until Election Day, when the lines will be long. Get out there and vote!

In the Tidwell area, voting is up 170% from four years ago.
Big reason? Lots of candidates on the ballot generating interest, including chance that @letitiaplummer become first Black woman county judge in Harris.

Black voters will be key reason Dems win in Texas if they flip the state.
They are showing up in the biggest county in Texas so far. In 3 key vote centers in Black community the early vote is double the last midterm & out pacing other parts of Houston.
The path to flipping Texas runs straight through Harris County, and these leaders know it!
I'm proud to have the endorsement of the entire Texas Democratic ticket. We're ready to turn that momentum into real change.
Early voting is underway. Let's get it done!
