Thousands of Christians took to the streets of Kolkata in a massive protest, demanding justice and protection. Amid growing reports of attacks on churches, prayer gatherings and Christian communities across West Bengal, protesters called for accountability, religious freedom and safety for every believer. The government must answer for the oppression faced by Muslims and Dalits..!! Strict action must be taken against the oppressors.

Delhi, India | Qadeemi Masjid, located inside the Krishi Bhawan complex on Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi, is facing the threat of removal under the Central Vista redevelopment project. This historic mosque is over 100 years old. Its existence was documented in government records as early as 1940, even before Krishi Bhawan was built in 1957. On November 3, 2026, the Centre told the Delhi High Court that the mosque must be removed, citing the redevelopment project and the secular character of government property. A century-old place of worship is now facing removal. The next court hearing is scheduled for November 23. #SaveQadeemiMasjid

#FreeSharjeelImam Can India's democracy provide equal political representation to its 200 million Muslims? Jailed JNU scholar Sharjeel Imam has once again sparked a debate over India's democracy, secularism and the political representation of its Muslim community. India is home to approximately 200 million Muslims, making it one of the world's largest Muslim populations. Yet, an important question remains: Does such a large community receive adequate representation in Parliament, state legislatures and the institutions where decisions are made? In an interview with The Quint, Sharjeel Imam questioned India's secular identity and electoral system. His arguments have reignited discussions among academics and activists. He argues that the First-Past-The-Post electoral system, without adequate safeguards, could lead to the permanent political marginalisation of Muslims. Referring to the concerns raised by Allama Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Imam argues that the political marginalisation of Muslims was a concern even before Partition, when Muslims were increasingly portrayed as an unwanted minority in the emerging nationalist discourse. His prolonged judicial detention has also raised serious questions about justice, bail and pre-trial imprisonment in India. Sharjeel Imam, Umar Khalid and several other Muslim students and activists have been in custody in connection with the alleged conspiracy behind the 2020 Delhi riots. The allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings. The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), passed in 2019, is another important part of this debate. It provides an accelerated route to citizenship for eligible non-Muslim migrants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan, while excluding Muslims from its provisions. This exclusion has prompted questions about India's secular principles. But the biggest question remains the political representation of Muslims. Does democracy simply mean casting a vote during elections? Is a community's role limited to mobilising crowds, raising slogans and providing electoral support to political parties? Or should it also have an equal place in Parliament, legislatures and decision-making institutions? The strength of Indian democracy should not be measured merely by the conduct of elections, but also by how effectively minorities are represented and included in the country's political and institutional framework. #SharjeelImam

“RSS is a terrorist organisation, and independent India's first terrorist was Nathuram Godse, the man who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi.”
The country already views the RSS as a terrorist organisation. The recovery of 44,000 live cartridges in Bihar and Haryana has raised serious questions about the country's security. Tejashwi Yadav has raised concerns, alleging that the accused are linked to the RSS.

The Muslim community is steadily strengthening its presence and political representation in American politics. Muslims are no longer limited to just voting; they are contesting and winning elections, holding positions of power, and making their voices heard in policymaking.

Why are children facing homelessness and demolition at an age when they should be studying and getting to play? Note: taken and shared with the consent of parents. Update: The protests have been called off. It was decided that they will wait for the meeting that's happening between the deputy cm and railway soon. And then a next step will be taken again across all bastis.

Indian Muslims held a peaceful gathering — no fights, no provocative slogans, no dancing or singing. Yet, even this peaceful gathering seems to bother those spreading hatred, who are trying to provoke tensions and incite unrest.
