Just hop on the Persian social media posts and there won't be a day without seeing a few of Iranians being rejected to become international students solely because of the sanctions. Their rejection emails are direct. Since you are Iranian, we can't accept you. They're also under pressure to take language competency tests. TOEFL has left Iran and Tehran has shut down the only organizer of French language exams, CLF.
