I don’t understand what y’all’s obsession is with us. All we want to do is go pee in peace. When I go in I usually am so discrete so no one knows it. I do my business n wash my hands, check my fit n makeup n leave. Many times women have come to me & started chatting (in a friendly way), but that’s it. I’m not doing anything nefarious in there. Most women are actually fine with it. I haven’t had any issues in real life. No not because they were afraid or intimidated as I said many just like to chat, n I get so much support even.
Using the woman’s washroom is a matter of safety as we get harassed at best in the men’s washroom. Honestly when I’m not presenting, like on work days or whatever, I do use the men’s as I’m not worried, but when I am presenting, then it’s always an issue, in the men’s.

I often discuss sexism in AI safety & strongly advocate that the field needs to improve in how it handles harassment, but I think AI risk is serious & backed by strong arguments & now empirical evidence. There are many reputable nonprofits & professionals working on AI safety.

we took down our initial podcast launch because it didn’t meet my bar of excellence. and we’re redoing it. i had several ppl ask why we didn’t just do the pay for engagement launch. agree w all the thoughts below.
the current meta for product launches on X is paid partnership facilitated by agencies and now podcasts and content are following suit.
this is the dumbest strategy i have ever seen if you are trying to build a business out of media for a few reasons:
- you create fake metrics that you can't sustain unless you always pay for them
- you sell to advertisers early based on those metrics
- because you're early in the project you sell slots at a premium promising upside
- the upside doesn't materialise because your engagement was all fake
- advertisers all churn when the upside doesn't materialise
- you then continue with no advertisers or spend time replacing advertisers at a giant discount (this usually spells the end for media companies)
the paid partnership meta is sad for launches but at least there is utility in it for moments that are supposed to be a flash in the pan.
paid partnership for media tells me that the creators aren't in it for the love of the game and are doomed to fail anyway
the tenor of this government will show with this commission, whether it's something real or a @jkenney -esque kangaroo court to manufacture social consent for healthcare privatization
