This is former Nigerian Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, being used in a hospital advert after undergoing knee replacement surgery in India.
These so-called “experienced leaders” had every opportunity while in power to build first-class healthcare facilities in Nigeria. Yet, in old age, they travel abroad for the very medical care they failed to make adequately available at home and can even end up as advertisements for foreign hospitals.
At this rate, perhaps one day a hospital in France will be using a Nigerian president, Tinubu for its adverts.
What a tragic indictment of decades of failed leadership and neglect of Nigeria’s healthcare system.

URGENT CALL FOR HELP!!!!!
This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.
Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.
Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.
According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.
They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.
Please if you see this tweet,
Kindly retweet, share and tag General Christopher Musa the Minister of Defence, and also please tag the Ministry of Defence,

Air power does not stand alone. Behind every successful mission, NAF Regiment troops remain vigilant on the ground, securing air bases, protecting aircraft and critical assets, and ensuring the Nigerian Air Force can operate effectively at all times. Quietly professional and always mission ready, they are the protective force that keeps air power alive, well projected, and effective.

Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, let’s honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori today chaired a State Security Council meeting in Asaba to assess ongoing improvements in security across Delta State.
Briefing the press after the meeting, the Commander of 63 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General M.A. Shonibare, reported a marked decline in kidnapping and cult-related crimes, attributing the progress to strengthened coordination among security agencies, traditional rulers, and local government authorities.
“The cases of kidnappings have dramatically reduced, and cultists no longer have a foothold here,” Shonibare stated. He detailed recent joint operations with the Nigerian Police Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, which rescued three students unharmed, neutralised two suspected kidnappers, and recovered two AK-47 rifles, magazines, and 16 rounds of ammunition.
The Brigade Commander also disclosed successful raids against fleeing criminal elements, including IPOB operatives seeking refuge in Asaba, Warri, and surrounding communities. “Those who think Delta State is a safe haven should think twice,” he warned.
On grassroots security, the Commander highlighted intensified action against drug abuse and trafficking, key drivers of crime, supported by strategic visits from senior military officers, including the GOC 6 Division, Major General E.E. Emeka, and enhanced collaboration with the NDLEA in identified hotspots such as Ughelli, Abraka, and Warri.

Good meeting. We discussed a lot one on one. Hoping for results on everything we covered. Protecting lives of our people. Full and unconditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent another war from breaking out. Very symbolic meeting that has potential to become historic, if we achieve joint results. Thank you @POTUS.
