2025 was a high year (41,472). A drop from a peak year always looks bigger than a drop from a typical recent year.
The official rolling year to June 2026 was 33,374, down 23% from the year to June 2025 β a fall, but much smaller than 43%.
About 12,500 people still arrived in the last four months of 2025. Autumn and early winter often produce big days. The year is not finished, so the 43% number can shrink if crossings pick up.

When I went to the police about being groomed from 12yrs old the 6 Pakistani men (pictured) made my life hell. 1 of them got me pregnant aged 13, pictured is me and my son a few weeks after my 14yh birthday. Because I have my son now 27 as living proof they want me dead so I can't talk about the hell I went thru as a child. I've had to move 17 times, I had Β£20,000 put on my head, I had my daughter taken, they beat my mom up (pictured), they lied about me, I had to have my baby abroad to keep him safe and leave him to grow up without me he's 5 now. Honestly they fucked my whole life up.
They are all walking free apart from 1 who's dead. Never been done.

They refused; he followed. Girls alerted police, who arrested him. CCTV confirmed pursuit. Seongnam court issued detention warrant July 22 for attempted minor abduction citing flight and evidence risks. Police probed motive and watermelon source. No public trial outcome updates found since.
