OH MY FUCKING GOD. YOUR ENTIRE BUSINESS RUNS ON MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF UNPAID LABOUR YOU HYPOCRITICAL SHITGIBBONS.
It can be hard to say no to service requests in academia.
We sought advice on how to ensure researchers don’t get stuck doing unpaid labour

The 1st Canadian Focused Ultrasound Neuromodulation meeting was a success, with participants from across Canada including Ontario, Alberta, BC, and Quebec. Tomorrow, we continue with the international #FUN24 congress @MaRSDD in Toronto! fun24.ca @JFNankoo @RobertC21093233 @HamidRamezanpou

Day two of #FUN24 kicked off with an outstanding presentation by Emilie Franceschini from Aix-Marseille University @univAMU_Europe @LMA_UMR7031. She discussed how some of the dorsal root ganglion neurons are genetically more responsive to focused ultrasound stimulation and the critical role of deformation in FUS response. The session was moderated by Miriam Klein-Flugge @MKFlugge.

Low intensity transcranial focus ultrasound can induce plasticity in the motor cortex of patients with Parkinson’s! The effects are related with the use of dopaminergic medication. Happy to share our results! @movedisorder @MDJ_Journal @RobertC21093233

From someone who has studied this field for over 2 decades, I can comfortably say that virtually everything said here is inaccurate. It is incredibly disturbing to me that someone claiming to be a scientist can talk with such authority on something they clearly know nothing about
