🚨This is existential. “Ethnic Studies Council @ UC” wants to “dezionize” the @UofCalifornia. Its model: denazification. It targets Zionists on campus. Most Jews are Zionists. That’s your kids’ Jewish professors. That’s us. Learn more and help us, Jewish faculty, push back: jfrg.org/dezionization

As Columbia faculty and staff, we are astonished. @Columbia declared “Zero Tolerance” for CUAD, yet its former lead negotiator is being welcomed at an approved campus event on Oct. 27. We hope Columbia will clarify whether that policy still stands.
The group that calls itself “CUAD" is not a recognized student group, or affiliated in any way with the University. There is no evidence that anyone currently in control of their account is a current Columbia student, staff, or faculty member. They are illegally using the Columbia name.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
An open letter from Columbia faculty members in support of Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) was published in May 2024. The signatories (most of whom still work at the university) can be found here. x.com/ManhattanMingl…

Thank you @ADL for naming antizionism for what it is. Too many campus administrations still treat it as politics, not hate. Jewish faculty and staff live the consequences every day. More of this, please. Faculty are ready to help tell the story. #JFRG #HigherEd

Outrageous - @Tulane is giving its university space to an event demonizing Israel, featuring speaker Dr. Salman Khan who promotes claims that Israel spreads infectious disease in Gaza. That rhetoric echoes medieval blood libels! Tulane students deserve better than to have antisemitism dressed up as education @TUFitts.

🟨 On Oct 7, a campus rally recast Israel’s entire history as “siege and displacement.” 🟨 We paused the footage to unpack two anti-Jewish libels behind it: 🔴“settler colonialism” and the 🔴 one-sided “Nakba.” Once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it. 🧵

About 700,000 Palestinian Arabs were displaced in that war. In the years that followed, about 850,000 Jews were driven from Arab lands: Baghdad, Cairo, Tripoli. They were not at war. They were driven out for being Jews. One story is told on campus. The other is erased.

Judea Pearl reminds us of a truth that no political narrative can erase: the Jewish people’s connection to the Land of Israel is ancient, continuous, and documented. Our history did not begin in 1948. And no amount of historical revisionism can make 3,000 years of Jewish history disappear.
It's not about whether @BarackObama is aware of the Jewish historical connection to Israel; it's about what he wants people in 2026 to believe and how he wants them to act toward Israel. The latter is obscene, to say the least, if not outright genocidal. @AkaLazarus @ShMMor @faniaoz

“You can say, oh Jews were always debating about Zionism. That was a fun thing to debate in 1920, when it was a fun hypothetical. It’s a really different thing to debate in 2026 when there is a country which is where half the world’s Jews live.” “Jews who are antizionist are coming from a position of almost unfathomable privilege.” Watch Dara Horn speak with @coldxman youtube.com/watch?v=JnvJh9Ds…

A Jewish patient reportedly left UCLA’s ER after seeing a sticker echoing the blood libel: the lie that Jews deliberately kill children. JFRG warned UCLA’s commission and medical school repeatedly. Pharma ads don’t belong in patient care. Why does anti-Jewish hate? @UCLAHealth @FeliciaKnaul @UCLAchancellor @UCLA @ucprez @ADLCalifornia @ADL @StandWithUs @TheAJMAofficial
UCLA Ronald Reagan ER - a patient seeking care was shocked to see political messaging in the treatment area: a water bottle displaying Palestinian propaganda and a nurse wearing a keffiyeh scrunchie. Why is political advocacy allowed in a place where patients should be receiving care?

The next revelation may be even more consequential: Who knew about this coordination, when did they know, and how far did that knowledge extend? Who helped amplify it? Who looked the other way? The answers may be as revealing as the coordination itself.
🚨 BREAKING: THE ANTI-ISRAEL ACTIVIST COMPLEX EXPOSED? A new investigation has uncovered documents detailing how a transnational coalition coordinated anti-Israel protests across the world, preparing slogans, designing banners and distributing protest signs in seven languages before demonstrators took to the streets. The investigation identified 179 organizations in the coalition and hundreds of scheduled events, alongside plans for coordinated demonstrations, disruptions and media outreach. The revelation raises a fundamental question: how much of what appears to be spontaneous grassroots activism is being shaped by organized international networks? Follow @ISGAP for more!

JOINT STATEMENT: Antisemitic Rhetoric in Berkeley We are deeply alarmed by the growing normalization of antisemitic and hateful rhetoric in Berkeley in the discourse surrounding the upcoming election. Tolerating language that amplifies conspiracy theories and incites hostility toward historically marginalized communities threatens the safety and well-being of all residents, not just our Jewish community. At a time of heightened polarization, elevating extremist rhetoric that deliberately sows division undermines the mutual respect and civil discourse essential to a healthy, inclusive society. Recent reporting on a “Zionist takeover” of the City Council and accusations that Bay Area Jewish institutions, representing tens of thousands of local families, are "foreign lobby groups,” are highly offensive and dangerous. Most alarmingly, a social media post by a local activist group using the term “zionazi” to describe a former council member received likes from several candidates for office. By equating Zionism with Nazism, the authors are weaponizing the Holocaust against Jews and demonizing Jewish identity and connections to Israel. Such language does nothing to advance legitimate political discourse or constructive criticism of Israeli government policies. Instead, it perpetuates antisemitic stereotypes, dehumanizes Jewish people, and contributes to an environment in which harassment has become more acceptable. History has repeatedly demonstrated the devastating consequences of allowing hateful and threatening rhetoric to go unchallenged. Words matter, particularly when amplified by individuals in positions of influence. We call on Berkeley’s civic, community, elected leaders and candidates for public office to speak out against this rhetoric and unequivocally reject antisemitism and all forms of hate. -JCRC Bay Area, Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Netivot Shalom, JCC East Bay, @jfcseastbay, @jewishbayarea-

Yesterday, on Oct 7, masked demonstrators at UCLA chanted "Long live the intifada." What does that actually mean❓ And "from the river to the sea"? "From Gaza to Beirut"? We paused the footage and explained each one. It's under 3 minutes. Watch before you shrug it off.
