We all wanted the Walden era to work at UTEP. Scotty came in like energizer bunny and excited a fan base with his energy, enthusiasm, offensive fireworks background and recruiting success. Got a pass in 1st year but it has become so clear it’s time to move on… #coachingmatters

I’ve been watching UTEP football for almost 50 years. I didn’t think a team could be as bad as those early 1980s teams. They got beat 83-7 by BYU in 1980. Yet they continue to make history in all the worst ways.
