Currently has more chance of winning the #UCL at #AVFC with what we have, compared to that mess in Manchester.
We aren’t talking about Barca or Real Madrid here.
Stays where he is.

📊 Unai Emery has won 𝟔𝟏.𝟔% of his Premier League home games as Aston Villa manager (45 wins in 73 games). 🏟️
That's the highest win rate of any Villa manager with at least five home games in the competition, 𝟗.𝟔 percentage points ahead of Graham Taylor (52.0%).

When people say “this isn’t Man United”, what they’re really saying is that it isn’t Fergie’s Man United. They’ve been shit now for 13 years since he left and they were shit for 25 years before he joined

Mikel Arteta makes the very weird claim that Max Dowman is the first 16yo to ever play football… and rightly gets called out for lying! 🤥
Just look at his face when he realises 😂😭

Nicolas Jackson rarely looked an elite-level striker at Chelsea. Decent goal record, 30 in 81, but missed a lot of chances and got caught offside a lot. Jackson offside every 98 minutes at Chelsea (PL). At Villa, only every 128 minutes (PL). Reunited with the alchemist Emery. Decision-making improved. Emery filled him full of belief. Jackson knows how much Emery rates him.
Worked together for a season at Villarreal, where Emery improved Jackson’s positioning and made his runs more targeted and effective. Reunited, Jackson has 7 goals in 11 already under Emery at Villa. So hard-working, pressing, holding ball up, linking (well with McGinn and Manzambi) and scoring goals like that against Manchester City. Wrong-footed Anderson, gave Donnarumma no chance. Giving Guehi an uncomfortable time. #AVLMCI #AVFC

putting a game like this as the 4:30 instead of hiding it amongst the 2pm’s is a huge slap in the face of the working man. is it too much to ask for a little entertainment on a sunday evening before being up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to go and generate shareholder value?

Someone's just tried to panenka Fred the Red on the pitch at half time. He literally cannot dive. This sums the state of the club up.

Unai Emery has had 17 consecutive years competing in Europe. Five Europa League titles. No manager - no manager - has better pedigree in the Premier League. He is someone who will maximise players’ talents if they are willing to give themselves to him.
There is a reason the club have long pined for Emery to create a dynasty, beyond his existing terms — which run until 2029. He is the best coach Villa could possibly wish for, and the best in the Premier League.

Erling Haaland: "I think they played really good football. They want to play, they want to keep the ball, so all praise to them. They have an incredible manager. They sold a lot of players, but they still have plenty of good players and even who they put in are good footballers. So I respect them a lot, the way that they have been playing ever since Unai came in. They are doing really well." [PLP]
