Half a million views, tons of right wing posters like this one going "when we talk about cultural compatibility it's not some hypothetical issue", and no one asked "is that letter entirely AI generated" (yes) and "is it in fact almost the exact letter you get if you say 'generate a fake HOA letter telling me to stop smoking brisket' (yes), "would a first class letter dated Saturday October 17 arrive in time to complain about it bright and early Monday morning" (no), "is the letter consistent with Arizona laws around notice periods" (no), "how many HOAs in Arizona have a nuisance provision 8.4" (5, according to ChatGPT), and "do any of them employ a Marjorie" (no).
Now, of course, this isn't dispositive. It could be that the HOA used ChatGPT to make the letter, and wrote FIRST CLASS MAIL on it (which is what ChatGPT does by default when prompted to generate an HOA letter about smoking brisket) but then delivered it the normal way you would do so in an HOA, by hand. It could be that the HOA works on Saturdays. It could be that they just don't list their staff.
But my present perspective is that, for all the excitement that Dr. Josh Simmons's letter has caused on X, cultural compatibility might still be a hypothetical issue.

When we talk about cultural compatibility it’s not some hypothetical issue. What we can and cannot do in public, or even in private, is informed by our cultural upbringings. If you’re raised in a culture that views killing and eating cows as a sin, an evil, then having smoke from its cooking waft into your house is not only annoying and unpleasant, but deeply offensive. That culture is incompatible with one that enjoys grilling. There isn’t really a compromise here. One side will get what they want and the other won’t. It is a win-lose situation.
The more you import different culture, the more of this conflict you create.

When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about.
Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too.
Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day.
For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again.
Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate.
Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group.
It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.

A big part of center-leftism is people thinking they are good at telling who is trustworthy based on tone, mannerisms, diction, titles, and prestige. So you can show them examples like this, and they’ll say “but the people who went after Trump were good, serious people just upholding the law, while the investigation into Omar is clearly political persecution.”
The issue is that the “good person signs” libs rely on are very simple and easy to fake, and the majority of people they trust have indeed just learned this as a parlor trick, consciously or unconsciously. Whether someone speaks in soothing NPR-ese does not actually tell you whether they are honest or know what they’re talking about, and in fact in the modern day probably anticorrelates with trustworthiness.

My favorite part was when she attended a Frozen princess dinner and, for one brief, glorious moment, experienced a flicker of actual self-awareness about how messed up it was to be on a Disney family cruise without her two young children.
She then immediately drowned such introspections in alcohol before resuming her simultaneous complaints that everything costs too much and that cruise lines should 10x their labor costs.
