My heart goes out to all the men and women working in humanitarian relief in Gaza and the occupied territories, risking their life every minute of every day, and who were callously let down by the US veto at the Security Council. You are heroes ! #Gaza_Geniocide

After weeks of daily genocide and other war crimes it is almost impossible not to sound like a broken record There is an avalanche of expressions of horror by governments, institutions and people … And yet The killing machine is uninterrupted , the Security Council is paralyzed , and the global feeling of impotence is mounting The defunct mechanism of peace and security, the magnitude of humanitarian norms violations, the widening schism between the West and the rest of the world are all laid bare The world is marching backwards towards polarization and anarchy God help us … #Genocide_in_Gaza

There are no words to describe what is happening in Gaza today! It is hermetically sealed from the outside world with no communication, no food, no water, no fuel, nothing except massive aerial and artillery bombardment raining on 2.3 million innocent civilians. I can’t speak about Rule of Law or international institutions or humanity. They don’t exist today in Gaza. There is only fear, misery and the stench of death. I just hope that Israel, the US and Israel’s supporters realize that they are destroying many global norms and values which took decades of painstaking efforts to build. This ongoing tragedy is sowing the seeds of hatred and violence, particularly in the Arab and Muslim world with incalculable consequences. I come from this part of the world and I know. Establish a ceasefire, allow humanitarian supplies to flow in, release all the hostages and start talking.
