The Walks and The Linnets were everything to Lee.  They’re the reason behind the name 8:56 — a place he loved, a place full of memories, a place that meant so much to him - The Captain  To now see the Foundation carried on the front of the home shirt… it’s hard to put into words. It’s pride and emotion in equal measures. A huge thank you to Tony and Karen Stevens at WWSA, who have donated the entire front‑of‑shirt to the 8:56 Foundation to help elevate men’s mental health across our community Karen said: “We are delighted to become the main home shirt sponsor this year and to donate that sponsorship to the 8:56 Foundation… supporting people and making a positive difference in our community.” Tony added: “Football has a unique ability to bring people together and start conversations. We’re incredibly proud to help showcase the 8:56 Foundation on such a visible platform.” KLFC CEO and Captain Mike Clunan commented “This support helps us reach more people, start more conversations, and provide more help to those who need it.” And that matters — because we lose the equivalent of a full football team every single day to suicide in England and Wales. And during the 90 minutes it takes to play a match, one man will die by suicide. The smallest of conversations can be the difference.
