NBC has finally declared that Democrats have flipped the Kansas Attorney General's office

For all the Nikki Haley glazers out there Alan Wilson just won the South Carolina governorship by 4.5%- which everyone agrees is a terrible result, but understandable given the national conditions in *2010* Nikki Haley won by the same 4.5% margin. R+7 or D+14 and SC is R+4.5

If i'm not mistaken, Republicans are 1 special election from giving democrats a trifecta in both North Carolina and Georgia

Please tell me this is not fr
President Trump announces he offered the job of White House press secretary to Dana White: “Dana will be a press secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!”

It remains that the only statewide Republican to win without Trump on the ballot since 2016 in either Wisconsin, Michigan or Pennsylvania is Ron Johnson in 2022 He won by only 1%

I refuse to believe that the blue wave has come from people in a midterm election, that didnt vote in the Presidential that would surely be completely unprecedented, unless there has been a massive influx in foreign voters, or voters who have just turned 18 which there hasnt
This is really interesting:
25
There were 148 million ballots cast for the house in 2024 Just looked on wiki and it says ~125 million have been cast this cycle the Dems are estimated to have won 70 million so 22 million Republican voters (Trump got 77 mill, not 75) from 2024 didnt show up to vote

A 'Missing memory card' Why is it so hard to use paper ballots
BREAKING: A missing memory card discovered in southwest Georgia could cost Democrats a seat in the state House and narrow their newly won majority before they even take power. Once the votes were uploaded, Republican state Rep. Gerald Greene went from trailing Democrat Harry James by 58 votes to leading by 262. bit.ly/4kBT1NF

Democrats in 2014 held 46 Senate seats after a wipeout They held only 188 seats in the House They held 18 Governors, and only 7 state trifectas That was a wipeout event for them too, yet they rebuilt and won again- they even thought they would win a trifecta just 2 years later

It’s a shame, but unfortunately, most voters don’t really give a damn about foreign policy. The only exception is apparently hating on Israel, 24/7.
Wow. Senator John Kennedy. How is this not everywhere. Seriously. This is insane. Listen to what he’s actually saying.

Susan Collins won Maine’s 2nd congressional district by 12 points. Paul LePage won it by 2 points.
Paul LePage ran to the right of Susan Collins in Maine on immigration and deportation policy, guns, abortion, Obamacare and Medicaid expansion, tax policy, and support for Trump. He won and flipped a Democrat seat. She lost.

one thing i did laugh about on Wednesday morning is that Beto and Stacy Abrams must be screaming after seeing the results

Of the 7 swing states from 2024 All now have Democrat governors Between them, there are 11 democrat senators and only 3 republicans 5/7 have Democrat trifectas, and democrats are 1 state senate seat in North Carolina away from 6, and they still could win it

The elections was a rejection of Republicans Not conservatism. In many places, they embraced conservative policies with open arms
