If there was a Mount Rushmore of ball writers, Ross Newhan would be on it. He was a giant in the biz, a Hall-of-Famer who spent much of his 43-year career covering @MLB for the LA Times. He was a mentor to myself and so many others, a friend to all. Ross died today at 89. RIP💔
The reaction BS can wait, Fox. Show a replay of the check swing FFS. Just terrible work from the truck.

The Russia smell of this Alaska fossil fuel deal was so bad that even former Exxon people bailed from the company. The smell of Russia permeates the corrupt Trump administration. ft.com/content/e9cfbfbb-e65a…
Of course they called that a single because the guy only had it in his glove and why would anyone think that is a play that should be made by a big leaguer?

We are making the oil oligarchs rich. We are making Trump and his cronies rich. It is literally at our expense every day. There’s no trickling down happening. And Trump is bragging about it knowing nobody in the Republican Party will stand up to him and say enough.
This should be a good read. Jim has a lot of stories to tell.

YIKES 😳 Trump snaps at a reporter asking him about why he's dismissing sexual abuse allegations 👇
WOMAN REPORTER: Do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir?
TRUMP: Wait. Wait! Wait wait wait. Slow down. Who are you with?
REPORTER: NBC, sir. But they are very serious sexual abuse allegations
TRUMP: Quiet! Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?

Herbstreit had that one right, too, and then Williams completely made a mess of it. Just a horrendous play. Better off throwing it away and kick FG. Patriots will have a chance now.
Herbstreit must have ears in my family room. Said exactly the same thing about Pats DL jumping on purpose. (I know, it’s not that hard to see that.)
The second part of this is much worse than the first. At least the coaches will get rings eventually.
New tonight out of New York: Knicks coaches didn’t get rings on ring night. And that’s not the only jewelry related affront to some MSG employees, @TheAthleticNBA nytimes.com/athletic/7715834…

At some point it's all just too much, no? People putting politics above basic human decency? Normal people still find this stuff repulsive, right?
President Trump strongly defends Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mom. Trump: “That took a lot of courage to do but, essentially, what she was really doing was saving Ohio from making a truly horrible choice! The Press is trying to convince everyone that this Ad is bad, because it’s so good! Who wouldn’t use such an Ad? I would, it’s called, ‘hitting pay dirt.’”
