After the game Jordan Shipp ran over to Malachi Toney to show him love and ask if they could pray together. God, continue to protect these young men. Their mothers did an incredible job raising them. 🙏🏾

Chris Rock reveals the real reason he didn’t fight Will Smith back after getting slapped at the Oscars. Chris says he was raised right, and his parents taught him never to fight in front of white people. 😂 But the beef goes back further than the Oscars slap. Years earlier, Jada Pinkett Smith said Chris shouldn’t host the Oscars because Will wasn’t nominated for Concussion. Chris says she started the whole thing, so he had to finish it—and somehow, her husband ended up giving him a concussion. He says he spent his whole life loving Will and rooting for him, but things have changed so much that he watched Emancipation just to see Will get whooped.

Dwyane Wade earned $196 million in the NBA. At home, Gabrielle Union pays half the bills. And she insisted on a prenup. It started with one sentence. Wade says they were arguing in Miami and he called it "my house that I paid for." She told him he would never say that to her again. In L.A., she paid half of the new home. "You will never say my house again." In May 2023, Union said it on a Bloomberg podcast: "in this household, we split everything 50/50." Wade says it covers about three things, like the house. Everything else, each pays their own. They married in 2014, and in her memoir she wrote that she "got taken to the cleaners" in her first marriage. The case for 50/50: she earns her own money, she already paid for one divorce, and nobody gets to call the home "mine." The case against: he made $196 million, a marriage is not a business deal, and splitting bills with someone who earns more keeps the gap. In the video below, Wade explains how 50/50 works in their house. If your partner earns far more than you, should you still split the bills 50/50?

Pastor Lydia Ford of LifeWorks Church in Cleveland, Ohio, told the congregation that she and co-pastor/Prophet Israel Ford have entered a polygynous marriage, introducing Minister Shakayla Ford as his second wife and presenting her as her sister in marriage. On Facebook, Israel wrote: "I would like to introduce to the world, my second wife, Shakayla Ford!!! As a nation we have been taught that a man should have one wife only. This is unbiblical... I have no plans to choose pleasing man over what God has revealed”

I DON’T KNOW WHO NEEDS TO HEAR THIS, BUT STOP adjusting your life to accommodate other people’s feelings while sacrificing your OWN happiness! Stop living in fear of being abandoned, judged, criticized, or talked about. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO THEY ARE! Family, friends, lovers, or whoever! At the end of the day, I GUARANTEE you most of those same people wouldn’t think twice about living their lives exactly how THEY want to! So why are YOU limiting your happiness just to gain approval from people who aren’t even living YOUR life? Why are you making yourself miserable just to keep everybody else comfortable? You get ONE life! ONE opportunity to experience happiness, freedom, peace And if you spend that life putting yourself LAST, one day you’re going to look back and realize you wasted time trying to please people who were NEVER going to be satisfied anyway! STOP EXISTING FOR EVERYBODY ELSE AND START LIVING FOR YOURSELF! Choose YOU and stop feeling guilty for doing what’s best for YOU! 💋🫂

Hospice nurses, who sit with the dying every day, say the body often begins signaling that the end is approaching months in advance, and understanding these signs can bring families more peace, not fear. Palliative care nurse Julie McFadden explains that around six months out, a person often starts turning inward, becoming quieter and more introspective, sleeping much more, and eating and drinking noticeably less. This is not giving up, it is the body naturally conserving its energy as it slows down. In the final weeks and days, these changes deepen, more sleep than wakefulness, less interest in food and the outside world, and sometimes reaching toward or speaking to loved ones who have already passed, which hospice workers see often and consider comforting rather than alarming. The most important takeaway is that hospice teams "let the body be the guide," focusing on keeping the person calm, comfortable, and free of pain. Knowing what to expect can help families feel less frightened and more present in these tender final moments. This is a sensitive topic, and if you are walking this road, please lean on your hospice team and loved ones for support. Follow for more compassionate end-of-life guidance. #Hospice #EndOfLife #Caregiving
