It was great to join Pastor Jason Dillon and my friends at Parkway Church for the grand opening of their new community center this week. Brother Dillon and Parkway Church are strong supporters of Mississippi’s law enforcement community and I am so grateful that they chose to host their annual law enforcement appreciation luncheon as the first event following the ribbon cutting.

Hey @Hilton. I had a very bad experience today at the Home2Suites in Fort Worth. I have spent over a month of the year at this property and very much appreciate the team, their attitude and hospitality. Even today, I checked in on line at 3, show up around 6, long line, no room ready, check my bags, give them room to breath, come back 90 min later, told that not sure if there was a room availabile, first come first served, I get it , solve the problem in front of you. But shit service for a loyal guest. I have to give your one front desk agent Natalie 10* and a strong recommendation for promotion, No rooms were ready , I watched her deal with, other people in checked into rooms that were not clean , etc. and she was calm, cool and collected. When I returned around 7, fortunately for me there was a room on the 3rd floor - the room reccomended for me - that i checked into on my app at 3 ish - was on the 2nd floor and the hard working housekeeping team was just leaving 3rd floor when i got to my room at 7:30 - heading to the 2nd. But good news @ 7:48 I got a text - "Exciting News, your room is ready." So it is EXCITING that my room is ready nearly 5 hours after it was promisesd? Fix it and take really good care of the people that you put in front of this cluster... they deserve it. – at Westover Hills, TX

I am proud to defend our Second Amendment rights, and because the ATF decision to make Form 4 voluntary can be changed by future administrations, I will continue to work with the @NRA and ASA to amend state law to ensure lasting impact for Mississippi gun owners. Read my full statement ⬇️

Since launching my One Pill Can Kill initiative in 2023, overdose deaths related to fentanyl in Mississippi have dropped 63%. This week, my office trained students at @OleMiss on how to administer Narcan and provided students with the tools they need to help save a life in the event of an overdose. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Click the link below to learn how you can request these lifesaving tools in your community.

During Operation Stronghold, our Cyber Fraud Task Force visited 421 retail locations across the state and inspected 2,150 point of sale terminals to identify card skimmers that steal your personal information. Every skimmer is estimated at a $1 million potential fraud loss. A special thanks to the USDA Office of Inspector General for helping us build a network of law enforcement officers and retailers trained to identify and report skimmers.

September 11th, 2001. Every American alive then remembers that moment and can answer the inevitable question: “Where were you on 9/11?”

On a normal day at her dream job, Genelle Guzman-McMillan was working in the North Tower when it collapsed on 9/11. She was buried under concrete and steel for 27 hours and was the last survivor pulled from rubble. “A Day That Changed Our Lives Forever” features her riveting story and others—along with a powerful message of hope. Another senseless act of violence takes the life of a law enforcement officer who was simply trying to protect and serve. Prayers for Deputy Bailey’s wife, four children, family and friends.

I am heartbroken to hear of the killing of Claiborne County Sheriff Deputy Terrian Bailey. Our deepest sympathies are with Deputy Bailey’s wife and four children, friends, and the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Today, I announced the conclusion of Operation Stronghold to protect taxpayers, businesses, and consumers from waste, fraud, and corruption! In partnership with the @OIGUSDA and MS Department of Human Services Inspector General, we visited 421 retail locations across the state and inspected 2,150 point of sale terminals to identify card skimmers that steal your personal information. Every discovered skimmer is estimated at a $1-million potential fraud loss. Educating businesses and consumers to spot and report skimmers stops fraud before it happens.
