This year has completely sullied Kyle Whittingham’s rep. His old team has immensely improved without him and his new team is a complete mess because of the coaching.

Very frustrating and disheartening to see how prevalent AI is becoming in racing in areas it is just not needed ie. articles and crap graphics for social media posts. Taking the job of a talented person for the sake of low-quality, soulless content. It’s dire.

On the Kyle Shanahan/Brandon Aiyuk situation...I'm not clear if Shanahan "could care less," or "couldn't care less." Hopefully an NFL insider will be able to get to the bottom of it...

Another week where commentators refuse to explain why the decision is being made to inform viewers and instead remain ignorant. Maybe viewers really enjoy be enraged while watching but considering “analytics” aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, we should probably work to inform the audience.

Before busting that long run, Baltimore had scored just 1 TD in its prior 30 non-kneel down drives.

VSIN Contest Leader @alexwhitee is on a 33-9 run (and 7-0) in the VSIN Invitational The probability that a 54% handicapper can win 33 or more games in a 42 game sample is .025% NO ONE will ever have a run like that in this contest EVER again. @VSiNLive @CircaSports

Real talk — what @alexwhitee is doing is historic. 33-9, a 78% clip, against Circa numbers with the best cappers alive in the field. 7-0 on best bets on top of it. Fezzik's math says .025% for a reason. This is the run of a lifetime. Flowers deserved. 💐👑

BREAKING NEWS: Gaming officials in Massachusetts Thursday said they will launch a full investigation into alleged proxy betting concerning @BillSimmons and @FanDuel and have the operator appear at an adjudicatory hearing on the matter. Simmons admitted on podcast that he facilitated proxy wagers on his FanDuel ($FLUT) account through an acquaintance in the Commonwealth when he was out of the state. The case involves 22 wagers totaling $21,800 placed over three separate dates in August. @MassGamingComm Senior Enforcement Counsel Zak Mercer said the "IEB will be digging in on all facets of this and making determinations as the facts guide us." Commissioner Eileen O'Brien pushed for the review, citing the illegality of proxy wagering in the Commonwealth. "I'd like this to come in front of us," she said. "One of the huge issues that we've had, especially with youth and college-age people betting, has to do with proxy betting," she said. "And I've been a little disturbed by the lack of full appreciation. I think in general to the fact that it's illegal. To me, this is not singling someone out, but this is the first one we sort of had openly referred to us as a possibility. I think it is a an opportunity to have an operator do a deeper dive as well into proxy betting."

Kalshi still wants to have it both ways, to whatever suits its needs in the moment. Big favorite loses: “don’t blame us, we are just giving you probabilities!” When a bunch of favorites end up winning “we’re a truth machine!”
If one wants to make a case for markets, focus on favorites would not be the way to do it; look at races that both models and markets got wrong but to different degrees, like MS-Sen where models gave Colum 2-4 percent and markets gave 16, this is far more interesting
