The Rev8 OS1 Max has a spot size up to 50% smaller than the previous generation, so wires, crossarms, and poles resolve as clean lines of measured points instead of scattered returns.

Turkish defense company ASELSAN has equipped its DERİNGÖZ Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) with Kraken Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS), enhancing its capabilities for mine countermeasures (MCM), high-resolution seabed mapping, and maritime security operations.
The advanced sonar system delivers 3 cm × 3 cm resolution imagery across swaths of up to 200 meters per side, enabling precise underwater target detection and classification.

🔹 Wide-Area Coverage: Up to 200 meters per side.
🔹 Operational Flexibility: Modular configurations with depth ratings of 300, 1,000, and 6,000 meters.
🔹 Mission Efficiency: Potential to reduce survey mission duration by over 60% compared with traditional sidescan sonar.
Kraken personnel recently conducted operational training with ASELSAN teams in Türkiye, supporting the integration and operation of the advanced sonar technology.
The development strengthens DERİNGÖZ’s potential role in underwater surveillance, mine detection, and maritime security missions.
