“I think he’s been bought”: Former US Army Europe commander claims Putin is pressuring Trump
“I can’t prove it, but it’s absolutely clear that President Trump is under some kind of pressure from Vladimir Putin. I think he’s been bought,” retired General Ben Hodges said on the German political talk show Maybrit Illner.
According to Hodges, Trump now has two options: admit that he is beholden to Putin or try to escape accountability by counting on protection from his successor.
“We’ve never had a perfect president. But having a president who is not only corrupt himself, but also allows others to be corrupt, is an incredible disgrace,” Hodges concluded.

Claims by Russian bots blaming Ukraine and Polish Government are already circulating while Polish authorities are still investigating what happened. And of course Polish far-Right is spreading it already.
Don’t let anyone turn this tragedy into another weapon against Ukrainians or Polish government. Don’t spread unverified accusations, no matter how loudly politicians, influencers, or suspicious accounts repeat them.
