Rest easy, Danny…
Thousands of miles away, but you still left a mark. Won’t forget you, your voice, and the good times we had in our spaces and Discord.

With the 40th anniversary of THE LEGEND OF ZELDA & Nintendo switch / game release. This fun fact that sent me down a rabbit hole. Early #Zelda lore I just found out🥲 That old image of Link kneeling and praying in front of a crucifix that’s floated around the Zelda fandom for years is apparently REAL official Nintendo art. A Zelda historian found it: the top of Chapter 6 in Kamigami no Triforce, Nintendo's Japanese only official guidebook for A Link to the Past, published alongside the game in 1991.
The original Japanese Legend of Zelda literally had a Bible, which became the “Book of Magic” in the US. There’s even a prayer scene in A Link to the Past where Link makes a cross like gesture to open the Desert Palace.
I’ve been a Zelda fan forever and somehow never knew any of this. Either way I love this game as it was and is now!!!
Adventure through Hyrule and become the Hero of Time when The Legend of #Zelda: Ocarina of Time releases Nov 5 on Nintendo Switch 2. #NintendoDirect
