This is outrageous, today @fordnation showed why he's the wrong person for the times. He made a 30 sec decision to move us back to modified stage 2 weeks late, being unavailable for weeks as variant mounted and is now overwhelming health system capacity. This is shameful. #onpoli

Once again Doug Ford refuses to spend the money to tackle COVID or help folks get through it in good physical, mental and financial health.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
We CAN support people and safeguard our communities. Don’t let them tell you it can’t be done. #ONpoli

Doug Ford is shutting down schools but keeping shopping malls open. Failing to prevent this closure is a shameful betrayal of our kids. #onpoli

So his CEO friends told him about major work absenteeism so NOW it's a problem? What about the nursing and healthcare shortages that have been unfolding for weeks, months? @fordnation

This is not just about Doug Ford.
It's the entire Conservative Party that deserves blame. It follows a sick ideology that would actually flirt w/the mass infection of unvaccinated children, w/a virus that we still don't truly understand. #onted

I anticipate the Ford gov will soon announce a new plan-on-a-napkin as their current “good luck everyone” strategy has not been received well.
Ontario needs a government that will be proactive instead of constantly reacting last minute to chaos. We deserve better. #onpoli

Looks like @fordnation might be finally getting the message.
No, we don’t want our students, our kids, and/or our vulnerable neighbours to die because of ‘the economy.’

We have to hunt for vaccines. We have to hunt for tests. We have to hunt for information about our kids’ school schedule. Either Ford government is insanely incompetent or they enjoy making us suffer.

The PC Party is done as of today.
There is no way they will survive this.
They couldn't afford to screw up ANOTHER wave. Now it's clear to everyone they did.
It's over.
The next premier will be Andrea Horwath or Steven Del Duca.

So Ontario Premier Ford expected to announce in the next day or so (Monday or Tuesday) if schools for millions of children will start Wednesday. Just let that madness sink in. No wonder Ontario families are losing it.

If schools really are as safe as the province contends, then why can’t every other sector adopt their measures and stay fully open? Stadiums? Government offices? Government press conferences? Family gatherings?

It’s two days before the start of school in Ontario and the only place I’m getting any kind of information is on Twitter. What the actual fuck, #FordNation? #FordFailedKids #LecceFailedKids

As a parent I should not have to be glued to Twitter at 10pm to find out whether schools will be closed for 2 weeks or not. The @fordnation government has no plan. It never has had a plan. We needed a safe school reopening plan 3 weeks ago. #angrymom #onted #onpoli – at Ajax, Ontario

It's almost shift change and my ICU colleague just messaged me that they are 7 nurses short. No replacements found. 3 nurses have been guilt-tripped into working 16hrs. The hospital has decided to incentivize all staff with a time and half pay, still, no nurses. It's really bad.
