Why did @Dallas_Brodie decide to stay in Vancouver Quilchena where she is currently running fifth? Has to be one of the least hospitable conservative ridings in the province for her brand of politics.
Congratulations to @Conservative_BC on running an excellent campaign particularly given the circumstances and also lol at @Dave_Eby for the hilarious fuck up of the decade. Sometimes being cynical really bites you in the ass. #bcpoli #BC26
The strategic decision here seems to be that Israel doesn't care about support from the West in general as long as they have a good relationship with Donald Trump personally. That seems incredibly shortsighted.
Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina over the Falklands, The Telegraph can reveal.
The Israeli prime minister told diplomats to change his country’s official position and join Buenos Aires in calling for direct talks over the future of the islands.

Because the self-determination of a settler population, even after nearly 200 years, counts for nothing? Is this really where Israel wants to go?

Distancing yourself from the leader the day before election day is a tactic that almost never works and usually makes things worse but it happens again and again. #bcpoli
The BC NDP is bigger than one person. It’s a team that believes that access to healthcare shouldn’t depend on your ability to pay; that kids should have quality education; that every worker deserves safe work and fair compensation; and that...

This is an interesting comms product because normally these are done to show certain parties can't win so their supporters should vote strategically, but do they imagine NDP and Green supporters will vote OneBC to stop the Conservatives? Seems unlikely! What is the goal?
1) It was always a mistake to apply the logic of consent to sex to every other topic. 2) Telling awkward teenagers that the world needs to adapt to them rather than the other way around will not serve anyone well.
This is not a surprising outcome at all, but it wasn't enough to get Ken Sim re-elected.
BREAKING... City of Vancouver voters overwhelmingly voted "YES" in both public safety plebiscite questions.
68.6% for enhancing enforcement against public use of hard drugs.

I'm not sure what will happen in Toronto on Monday but the @BradMBradford campaign is behaving like a winning campaign and the @oliviachow campaign is behaving like a losing campaign. #TOpoli
I assume the CAQ is going to cease to exist? What purpose does it serve at this point?
1) Reducing immigration is popular *even among immigrants* in Canada. 2) There is almost nowhere you can go in English Canada where you "hardly ever come across a real live immigrant". These observations come from another planet.
Happy to see Alberta vote decisively against a referendum. I hope that those who voted for a referendum give Canada a second chance, and I hope that other Canadians and the federal government understand that work is not done yet to address the legitimate grievances of Albertans.
My favourite part is where the left wing fake journalist outfit that this guy used to work for goes out it its way to clarify that they were ok with him vandalizing a statue just not the other stuff.
STORY, updates to come: Edmonton former journalist Duncan Kinney has admitted to spray painting a bust of Ukrainian World War II leader Roman Shukhevych with the words "actual Nazi," then writing about it, claiming he didn't know who did it. edmontonjournal.com/news/cri…
Clear Impact Strategy worked on several successful mayor campaigns in BC, help defeat 2 incumbents, and preserving seat of an incumbent in a hotly contested race.
We learned a lot of lessons from both the wins and the losses. Looking forward to Ontario next week! #bcpoli
This is good advice. Spending limits are tight and money is hard to raise. Spend the money on persuading, identifying, and mobilizing voters. Anything else is waste. #onpoli #topoli
Dear candidates: I have charged big $ for this secret but I offer this free of charge:
Public property signs have 0 impact on final results. So spending an extra $17 ($12 for arterial and $5 on wooden stakes) + valuable volunteer hours (+clean up!) to out sign your opponent 2-1 on some random corner is a WASTE of resources.
