Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize.
The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets.
While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks.
Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

Bob Uecker's Harry Doyle calls from "Major League" became part of baseball movie history.
The famous misses, deadpan reactions and booth one-liners worked because Uecker already knew exactly how a baseball broadcast was supposed to sound. He could parody an announcer without making the character feel fake.
That's why the clips still work even for people who have heard the real Uecker call games for decades.

Next thing we are going to hear is these college football players announcing they don’t negotiate during the season. This is college football now. WTF! Then no one should ever feel sorry for any player who gets cut for shitty play!
Breaking: Oregon State star freshman WR Jesse Legree has re-signed with the Beavers and will return to play there in 2027, he tells @PeteThamel.

I don’t ever want to hear “tax the rich more” or “we need more taxes for…”.
60.3% of the federal government spending goes to social welfare and healthcare.
Cut spending and find & eliminate waste & fraud or GTFOH.

The final 2026 US budget is out…
One of the great political moves by the left in recent years has been convincing a large portion of America that we don’t already spend the vast majority of our money on healthcare and entitlement programs.

Zero percent chance LeBron would practice a golf swing during China’s national anthem. 0%.

LeBron decided to practice his golf swing during the national anthem last night. I can’t wait until he retires, he’s been toxic for the entire NBA.

AG Todd Blanche confirms that officials have uncovered $42 million in alleged SNAP fraud since September.
"It comes from just outright theft and taking money from the people that are supposed to be receiving these efforts."
Blanche said the money could have provided a month of food for around 220,000 Americans.
"To put this number in perspective, 220,000 Americans could have eaten for the entire month of October if it were not for this $42M in fraud."

Yandy trade was bad and everyone called it at the time.
Jake Bauers played for SEA, NYY, MIL and was about to retire before this year and only played this year because he needed health insurance cause his wife was pregnant. He’s never been more than a .6 WAR player
You want to know why Cleveland Guardians fans are so annoyed right now?
In 2019 Cleveland, Seattle and Tampa Bay made a trade.
Cleveland got Jake Bauers.
Tampa got Yandy Diaz.
Diaz helped the Rays win the pennant.
Bauers was the NLCS MVP for the Brewers.
It's like when CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee faced each other in Game 1 of the '09 World Series after winning back-to-back Cy Youngs for Cleveland.
