Second stop on Day 4 of our Affordability Tour!
Stopped by the legendary Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg for a meet and greet alongside Sheriff Bill Rhyne and Representatives Sarita Edgerton, Travis Moore, Steven Long, and Josiah Magnuson.
Great seeing so many folks and discussing our plan to lower taxes, reduce everyday costs, and make South Carolina more affordable for families! @lonetater @StevenLongSC @JosiahMagnuson
Some great ideas in here
NEW: @AGAlanWilson just announced his Affordability Agenda, a plan to lower costs for South Carolina families.
Oof
Americans' participation in various social activities has declined by double-digit margins since 1995.
That includes:
• Entertaining people in your home: -21
• Attending a place of worship: -20
• Going on a picnic: -19

Thank you @AGAlanWilson for highlighting the massive growth of SC government as one of the obstacles to ending the income tax 🔥
South Carolinians know how to spend their money better than government does.
As Governor, I’ll fight to eliminate the state income tax, rein in government spending, and put more of your hard-earned money back where it belongs: with you and your family.
That’s how we make South Carolina more affordable.

Being Governor means showing up.
@Dr_JLJohnson has missed nearly 700 votes in the State House, including 248 since February alone.
Before asking for a promotion, he should explain why he keeps missing work! scstatehouse.gov/votehistory…
I would go a step back from Leviticus. Genesis 9:6 is a command for all humanity. Not just for Israel or for non-Christians. It is a foundational principle for the post-Flood world.
Replying to @LilaGraceRose
The Israelites had less technology and fewer processes available at the time of the writing of Leviticus and yet God still saw fit to institute the death penalty.
One can have concerns about process without declaring those who support the death penalty to be inhumane.
“But Flock cameras only track license plates… if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear…”
WOAH 🚨 Senator Josh Hawley says that Flock Safety Cameras admitted to him in a private message they are saving images of every American inside their vehicles and they can search those images BY PEOPLE, not license plate
Hawley says this is a mass surveillance network like we’ve never seen being setup right here in America at a very shockingly fast pace
He says Flock is also searchable by bumper stickers on vehicles, like Trump stickers or NRA or pro-life or anything. Flock is using AI to be able to identify people down to the bumper stickers on their cars, even dents
“Flock's cameras can even recognize whether people are in the images. And in fact, Flock admitted in a letter to me ahead of this hearing that you could search their database based on people's images. You could ask to search people, images that had people, images that are scanning the the inside of the cars. I mean, this is really quite extraordinary”
“What seems to make these networks unique is not just the sheer number of cameras, it's the fact that they're all linked together and powered and searchable by AI. It's unlike anything we've ever seen in this country before — They store and catalog details like the vehicle's make, model, color, location, date, time. Flock's searchable features include details like dents and roof cracks and vehicle damage and racks on the roof or racks on the back or specific bumper stickers even. You think about that. I mean, Flock can tell you if a car has a Trump sticker or a Harris sticker or a Pro-Life America sticker or an NRA sticker.
It's really quite extraordinary.”
Just so you can get a sense of how truly vast the mass surveillance network already is in America with Flock cameras I included the current September 2026 map of all Flock cameras installed. It is insane
Why is this being allowed to happen
The solid leadership we have come to expect
House Of Representatives Goes On Break After Long, Hard Stretch Of Not Working buff.ly/xXYsR7L
It doesn’t have to be like this. We need to elect Republicans who want Republican ideas to win.
Canceling yet another day of votes is unacceptable.
The House has now canceled at least 63 scheduled voting days this Congress, including nine days this month alone, and now we're leaving Washington until after the election.
The Founders did not envision taking this much time off and still getting paid.
If Members of Congress want to go home and campaign instead of doing the job taxpayers sent us here to do, then their campaigns ought to be paying them, NOT the American taxpayer.
We still have work to do.

"We are inevitable."
No, you're not. It's the principles you scoff at that keep us standing here, blocking your path to the power you can't wait to abuse. And we'll still be standing here long after you've retreated back into the dark holes you've emerged from.
There it is
What many of you are seeing now is why the GOP has always been bifurcated.
You have republicans, some establishment; some who want government to play a non-neutral role in our lives, maybe to a lesser extent than the left; and then you have conservatives/classical liberals/constitutionalists who think a republic is a structure to constrain the size of government, which should not be invited to cultivate society or be anything but a neutral observer in business.
Government isn’t something you tame, it’s something you restrict. People don’t need a nanny state to pay others to mind their own children — and the idea that we’re supposed to shut up and accept this makegood in lieu of ending runaway spending and lowering taxes so people can keep their own money for their own childcare instead of receiving handouts — is an insulting lie.
Congress could do this if they wanted. Instead of this Obama 2.0 redistribution of wealth they could do just the two things above. The reality is they won’t, because they’re spineless and need to buy voters off now, not later. Some voters won’t force them, either, because in reality, some voters aren’t actually conservative in that they believe government should guarantee prosperity and happiness, rather than the simple opportunity to freely pursue it.
And spare me the “wELl iT’S moNeY alREAdy aLLOcaTed” — and? To argue this is to presume that this is Washington’s money, not taxpayer money. It’s rotten stewardship and absolutely, unequivocally socialist. I don’t care how long the structure has existed or how you want to modify it. That’s irrationally bad logic. Tell yourself whatever you have to in order to sugar that pill, I suppose, but facts are facts.
This isn’t a strategy, it’s a surrender.

A new federal entitlement won’t win you the midterms. Dems already own the Santa Claus, nanny-state, government-as-provider lane. But, it will further diminish conservative turnout, as they tire of supporting the Republican version of the DC debt machine.

Federal dollars for stay-at-home moms sounds great. It sounds like tax dollars finally incentivizing good things instead of bad things for once.
But we should know better. We know how this ends. Everything the government touches turns to crap. Every good intention ends up doing the opposite. The people the government tries to help end up being destroyed.
Middle-class Christian families are the only thing holding this country together. They’re the last line of defense against tyranny. And entitlement addiction will weaken their resolve to fight it.
Justice matters. No one, regardless of gender, should get away with murder. One man understood and is a new American hero. May more follow his steps 👏🏻

Flock cameras are just another step towards a security state.
And frankly, I am rather disgusted by so many "conservative" influencers coming out in support of them.
Huxley’s Brave New World imagined a society in which technological control became so normalized that people ceased to recognize it as control at all.
Brave New Flock has an added irony: some of the loudest defenders of a privately operated, nationwide surveillance infrastructure now call themselves conservatives.
There is nothing conservative about teaching Americans to accept ubiquitous cameras, centralized databases, automated tracking, and the routine recording of innocent people’s movements simply because the technology is sold under the banner of fighting crime.
A conservative instinct once began with suspicion of concentrated power, especially the power to watch citizens who had done nothing wrong. Apparently, for a new class of “conservative” influencer, that principle is negotiable.
