Klint Kubiak said that "there is no controversy" at QB for the Raiders.
But there should be.

Guess Buckner isn't coming to the Raiders either!
Would have paid a 4th rounder too... dang.
Maybe Spytek just doesn't think the team is ready to be a buyer yet.
Seems like NFC West teams loading up too and probably paying higher prices, or Colts doing right by their vets
Sources: The #Colts will receive a 4th-round pick in exchange for DeForest Buckner, per sources.
Former Raider finds another new home
Sources: The #Cardinals are signing veteran WR Zay Jones.
Jones was with Arizona in 2024 and 2025 and now returns. He brings with him over 300 career catches, nearly 3,300 yards receiving and 18 TDs.
I may be the last man standing in the Dont'e Thornton Jr. fan club, but I still think that he can be something.
Make or break time for him already it seems, but I hope he can figure it out.
We have activated WR Dont'e Thornton Jr. from the Reserved/Injured List. In a corresponding move, we have waived DT Jonah Laulu.

#RAIDERS ROSTER MOVES:
- Activated WR Dont'e Thornton Jr. from the Reserve/Injured list
- Waived DT Jonah Laulu
- Released WR Jamari Thrash from the practice squad

There ya have it. Welcome back Dont'e Thornton Jr.!
Wonder if they want Laulu back on PS... or if Thrash getting released means they'll cut Dareke Young to clear room for Jack Bech, and then Young comes back on PS.
So many options!

Several interesting snap count trends emerged from the Raiders' loss to the Rams.

Disappointing for him as a LV native. Had his moments over the years.
Raiders must really like Pegues/Keenan III
Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton Jr. also soon cometh
Source: The #Raiders are releasing DT Jonah Laulu.
The former Oklahoma star was a healthy scratch on Sunday, but was very productive last season — recording 8 TFLs and 4.5 sacks. His 86 tackles were the most-ever by a Raiders’ DL over the first 2 years.
Kirk Cousins is leading the NFL in touchdowns and is third in passing yards.
But those stats need context because they're lying to you a bit.
Here is that context:

Nelson really wasn't too expensive...
But after that Rams game, I would hesitate to spend any capital if I'm the Raiders😂
Let's see if we can get right vs. the Jets, then maybe make some moves, if any make sense
Wow, major domino to fall before the trade deadline
Guess we'll see him in W10!🤝
Trade: The #Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the #Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter and me.
Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.
The Raiders have a decision to make on Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton Jr.
With the roster math being weird in the WR room... what are Las Vegas' options? What should they do? ⬇️

The Raiders and Chiefs flop, and the Broncos are surging again.
That, plus more in our Week 7 AFC West roundup. ⬇️

The Raiders are struggling right now.
But don't jump ship on Klint Kubiak and John Spytek already.
These are the early stages of a rebuild, and while a 4-game losing streak sucks... we're ahead of where most thought we'd be.

honestly fine by me
we lay eggs against banged up teams
Rob Leonard earns another D- for his showing in Week 7.
And while he shouldn't be on the chopping block, some questions must be asked about him. ⬇️

Tre Tucker has ventured through a lot of fog in Las Vegas.
But he's proven worthy of an extension with the Raiders.
Why that's the case and what it could look like. ⬇️

"Fernando [Mendoza] is gonna play at some point, it's not gonna be this week."
Raiders HC Klint Kubiak names Kirk Cousins the starting QB vs. the Jets.
