Since we're discussing the 'goat' of Ultimate, as someone who studied the game and engine for a living here are my two cents. To clarify, I am very much biased but I do think I can justify my bias LOL
Imo there are three eras of Ultimate, and one 'herald' each;

i feel like the argument of "crouch cancelling/floorhugging is bad because i think i should be rewarded for winning neutral" is an interesting one because it implies that landing a hit is synonymous with winning neutral. if you throw out a move and get cc'd you didn't win neutral

The last couple months I’ve been working on a project called Ultimate VOD Studio
It’s an open source desktop app that automatically takes a recording setup or stream tournament VOD (with tags and characters), splits it into sets, and makes it easy to upload the sets to Youtube.
