It was a real honor. Stellar your readers and writers in the group. Thank you for the opportunity
Yesterday, our book club had a powerful conversation w/ author @Trent_Reedy! Wonderful advice on becoming an author & many moving stories about how the people he met in Afghanistan influenced he & Jawad Arash's writing of Enduring Freedom! 5️⃣⭐️ experience for our #KHSreaders!

We listened to Kent State by @DeborahWiles101. It is about the events of May 4, 1970 at Kent State and is told in multiple voices. The audiobook is very powerful! The students really liked it! It's only about 2 hours long--definitely worth a listen! #audiobooks

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear from students is that you can trust (or dismiss) a site just by looking at the domain. Not! 👇🏼

Ah, thank you so much for finding this story and for finding in it such things. All my best wishes to you and to all for whom you do your good work. ❤️
This novel in verse captured my curiosity from the very first line. The story was heart-wrenching at times, but always had a thread of hope running through it. The author’s note at the end solidified the value of this character/book for many teens.💙 @TonyAbbottBooks #khsreaders
