$HNT offload reaches over 1M people daily through building wireless. The iPhone Duo launches today. Most viewing on it will be indoors. The smart play here is using existing indoor wireless to add coverage. More video can ride local coverage.
Bigger phones mean bigger data appetites. The iPhone Duo launches today with a 7.6-inch screen, and most of what people watch on it will be indoors. Helium offload turns the Wi-Fi already in those buildings into coverage, serving more than a million people a day. helium.com/snapshot

The largest retailer-owned grocery co-op in the US just turned store Wi-Fi into a revenue stream. 🛒📶 Wakefern ($20.7B, ~365 ShopRite / Price Rite / Fresh Grocer stores across 9 states) has its first locations live on the Helium Network. Supermarkets are brutal for cell signal (concrete, steel, freezers). Traditional DAS is expensive. Instead, phones automatically hop onto existing store Wi-Fi via Passpoint — no app, no login. Stores earn as carrier traffic flows. Zero new hardware. Pure DePIN utility. More locations coming. #DePIN #Helium $HNT

Incentives to deploy from paying customers @helium #HNT
Deployers on the @helium network saw a whopping $28.74 cents per/GB tonight. It’s starting to feel like the good old days 😎 cheers to the deployers that never stopped building 🍻. Not time to relax we still have a lot of work to do! @dcentralizedllc is on it 🫡

solana:hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux has exploded over the last few days. But the price action isn't actually the most interesting part of the story. I went back and looked at what Helium is building today, and this is becoming a very different network from the one most people remember from the last bull cycle. Cities like Celina, Redondo Beach and Sausalito are turning existing WiFi infrastructure into cellular coverage through Helium. AT&T is already using the network across thousands of US locations. Telefónica opened Helium connectivity to millions of subscribers in Mexico. Expansion Zones are now showing deployers exactly where carriers need additional coverage, while Helium Plus is targeting cities, schools, universities, stadiums, hotels and existing commercial WiFi infrastructure. Brazil and the UK could be the next major expansion stories. So maybe this latest solana:hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux pump isn't only speculation. The bigger thesis is that Helium is slowly evolving from a crypto powered hotspot network into a decentralized infrastructure layer that traditional telecom operators can actually use. There are still risks. HNT's value capture needs to improve, and upcoming token incentives/emissions have to be watched carefully. But the asymmetric part is difficult to ignore: Helium today has more real-world adoption than it had during the previous cycle, while solana:hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux is still nowhere near its old valuation. I'm holding this one with a longer-term view now. The next thing I'm watching isn't the chart. It's the next city. The next carrier. And how much real traffic flows through the network. That's where the solana:hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux story gets really interesting. @helium #HNT #DePIN #rwa

The funding rate on Bybit HNT-PERP was close to -1000% this last print. A $60m market cap token with real users, with a chart that has no resistance for another 150%, down 99% from ATH. Shorts are trapped paying crazy funding with no spot supply. LOL. Explosive ingredients for $HNT
🚨HELIUM NEARLY DOUBLES AFTER TEXAS CITY TURNS WI-FI INTO CELL COVERAGE! solana:hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux jumped almost 100% after Celina, Texas, one of the fastest-growing U.S. cities, put existing public Wi-Fi onto the Helium Network so phones can use it as cell coverage with no new towers. The sites already move about 100 GB a day, covering spots like the library, a senior center, and downtown businesses. More locations are slated for the fall.

On the Helium proposal, I don't work there anymore but here's my take: Helium made two large, parallel bets: (1) Carriers will pay to offload to a decentralized network that fills coverage gaps. (2) Helium can build its own carrier, Helium Mobile, that offers cheaper prices than others due to the offload It was never explicitly stated, but (2) acted as a nice hedge for (1) being incorrect. If carriers won't use us, we'll use ourselves! So what happened? Well, this is a startup. Some bets win and some do not. The carrier offload bet won, there is massive PMF. Carriers agree to pay Helium more and more every year. On the other side, the Helium Mobile bet didn't go asymmetric. Free subscribers are expensive, but were the best subsidized bet to grow. Think about when Uber used to have $3 pools, nobody thought that was real but it grew them to the point of being unstoppable. HM made that bet, and all along the way it seemed like it could go parabolic. In places like New York with dense coverage, the Helium Network did meaningfully save HM money. Unfortunately, the expenses and distraction of running an MVNO do take a toll. It split focus. Helium Mobile was a swing for the fences, and while it didn't outright fail it was becoming a distraction from the bet that already had PMF; carrier offload! Leadership identified this gap and took action. HM was acquired, and the focus is now fully on offload and Noble Mobile is just another carrier using Helium. Now on to the proposal. Helium has PMF. We know this. But the age of subsidy is over, no more $3 Ubers. Hotspots need to get paid what carriers pay the network. I don't think this is controversial. The real controversial part is the one-time inflation. A network whose token is built on scarcity rightfully does not want a large inflation event. But here's the thing, Helium is at a meaningfully different stage. You can see it in the leadership change. Amir is the guy you want making large bets to find PMF. He's ruthless, driven, and not afraid to make controversial decisions. He's your 0 to 1 guy. Now look at Mario. He's smart, calculated, and has an MBA. He's your 1 to 100 guy. It's no longer a matter of "will this work" it's a matter of "put more money in to grow the network, yield more revenue." Mario knows how to do this scaling, and this scaling will not work without the inflation. Growth is not free. A business has operational costs that need to be covered. You want a navy seal team of salespeople onboarding hundreds of thousands of brownfield hotspots, and expanding to new countries? That costs money. So the network has a big decision here. It can stay in the scarcity mindset, mint no new tokens, and fizzle out as growth slows. Or it can take a risk and give the fire the fuel it needs to grow.

$HNT is heating up 🔥 Andrew Yang’s Noble just acquired Helium Mobile — a massive validation of HNT’s decentralized, crypto-powered wireless network vision. At the same time, Bithumb’s new listing just opened the doors for South Korean traders, and the numbers are moving fast. Trading momentum exploding Unique traders surged +721.4% in the last 24 hours. Strong community foundation 536,248 holders with large investors controlling just 0.3% of supply — one of the healthiest distributions in crypto. Real utility + growing adoption + fresh capital. With this momentum, $HNT looks primed to retest $1 and push toward new cycle highs. This is how decentralized networks win. $HNT

imo Nova Labs is just shedding its MVNO experiment by selling the retail MVNO business to Noble Mobile. this just simplifies @novalabs_ main goal BACK to growing the @helium network rather than focusing on the MVNO's main goal of growing subs
Helium is dead, long live Helium! Andrew Yang (of all people) acquired Helium Mobile. The acquisition is DePIN’s most surprising and arguably most significant development this year. What does it mean and what are the implications? 1. HNT’s TAM has meaningfully declined. As a result HNT has lower upside along with slower growth potential. No Helium Mobile MVNO revenue token burn potential means token holders can’t hope to benefit from this revenue line like they could in H2 2025. 2. Conversely HNT’s value accrual mechanics are now solidified solely through network hotspot usage, reducing underwriting uncertainty and providing a stable base for network growth. The network makes money if carriers use the hotspots - this dynamic is purer and less confusing that mixing in carrier offload revenue. 3. The main KPI to track is carrier offload usage growth which is tied to Helium supply side expansion in high value areas. If you buy Helium you’re betting it can actually expand mobile coverage more efficiently than centralized methods. This presents a far different investment profile than the MVNO business line. 4. Token holders across crypto will likely demand equity rights in tokens claiming that associated businesses will accrue their revenue to the native token. Helium’s flip flop between 100% revenue burns of helium mobile revenue to nothing within 6 months proves that investors can’t have confidence in verbal promises of value accrual. All in all - the acquisition represents a return to DePIN roots and reveals how difficult it is for teams to run bun a DePIN and a semi affiliated derivative business. With the focus purely on growing carrier offload the network is far simpler and easier to understand which might make investing in HNT easier even if the TAM has shrunk. I expect that we’ll see a medium term trend across the market towards simplicity rather than complexity in these difficult crypto market conditions where sophisticated derivative business will be harder to fund. The news is disappointing overall but it also paints the way forward for what DePINs should focus on. A new chapter has opened in the history of this admirably ambitious space.

Note that @helium_mobile and @helium are not the same thing.
PSA: @helium_mobile is an MVNO, a consumer cellular product. subscribers pay in fiat currency and get a phone number, a SIM card, etc the @helium Network is a network of community owned Hotspots that serve cellular traffic for multiple carriers including AT&T, Telefonica, and also Helium Mobile. Hotspot operators get paid in $HNT burned by the carriers for that traffic Helium Mobile got sold. @helium and $HNT is now our only focus. there is no longer any confusion between value accruing to equity holders or token holders. it's all $HNT also, still live on @solana 🙌

Still remain a big $HNT fan despite the market turbulence. The funny thing is that nothing about the original thesis (post mobile pivot) has been invalidated - in fact it has actually been well validated with ~3M DAUs across the offload network. The market is pricing this as a dead project when the reality is that the fundamentals are very very much alive - and outside of stablecoins / payments @helium is truly one of the only crypto projects that has found real PMF 6 years ago I was an early builder of the IoT network (within first 5k hotspots out of 1M+), and the idea of deflationary economics was somewhat of a pipe dream at that point. But that is now happening, more HNT is burned than created right now from real usage from real companies. I can't predict how the market will price the token, but I do know that as long as the underlying metrics (users, data transfer, network revenue) continue moving up and to the right, the business does get stronger and more valuable.
just a reminder that millions of daily users from major carriers like AT&T and Telefonica use the @helium network every single day $HNT is burned for every gigabyte they consume, at a rate of $330k+ per week right now 🔥🔥🔥

Telecoms continue to desire Helium’s expansion. More zones added today by telecoms who want to eliminate their dead zones for their cell phone customers by offloading to the Helium Network 👀 @helium $HNT
Today 1,000 new Expansion Zones are dropping in Helium World. These locations indicate exactly where carriers need coverage for their subscribers. Hint: Where your next Hotspot should go 🔥.
