Contrary to @RomReddySC's false statements below, no one at FITSNews interviewed @RalphNorman's son - he submitted a guest column (an unsolicited one, at that) and we published it.
We also published a piece from congressman William Timmons (@RepTimmons) responding to the column Mr. Norman submitted.
We published these pieces because we believe in the marketplace of ideas - and because we love publishing different perspectives whether we agree with them or not. Mr. Reddy knows this, as we've published numerous columns from him - and will continue to do so even as he calls our founding editor @TheWillFolks "crooked."

The Graham machine is running the same polling head-fake on South Carolina voters it did in 2020, and it's brilliant.
In 2020, knowing how unpopular Lindsey was, they clearly feared Republicans would simply skip the race and vote down ballot, for good reason.
So we were bombarded with fake polls showing Democrat Jamie Harrison neck and neck with Lindsey. Republicans who normally couldn't stand Graham panic voted for him, giving him a 10 POINT WIN, enough political cushion to free Graham up to go back to attacking Trump and colluding with the Democrats.
The head fake was so good, Democrats even fell for it and hilariously blew $130 MILLION on the race, again, only to lose by 10 points.
But the truth was always that South Carolina is such a red state that Lindsey, and now Darline, was never going to lose.
Once safely elected, the liberal SCGOP machine Graham controlled spent the next years on a reign of terror, purging conservatives and actual Republicans from the legislature in favor of fake "Republican" candidates who would run as Democrats in other states.
Will Darline Graham preside over a similar purge in coming years, or is she different from her brother? No one knows.
But it's why there is such lingering animosity that Ralph Norman won't bury the hatchet. There's years of history here. The point of the fake polls is to build the double-digit win so they'e not hamstrung by a tight margin.
Would I sit out the race? No. Annie Andrews is a worse nightmare. But the hysteria they have y'all whipped into is laugh-out-loud funny.
Check out the fake Graham polls from 2020. You'll see the same pattern. Pollsters didn't start telling the truth until the day of the vote. They look exactly the same as today. Again, Graham eventually won by 10:

Kevin Hall, the current treasurer of Darline Graham’s Security is Strength PAC, is also a registered agent with a group called Friends of the University of South Carolina.
This group has been sending $1,000 checks to democrats throughout this campaign cycle — democrats such as Gilda Cobb Hunter and Jerry Govan. The only Republican they’ve sent a check to is none other than Murrell Smith.
Seems like Darline’s own staff would be completely fine with democrats winning the midterms. To that, I say welcome aboard, Kevin! Happy to have you.

It’s time to start putting SC First. Please stop voting for establishment politicians before this state turns into North Carolina. That’s what happens when you keep electing lukewarm Republicans like Graham, Timmons, Scott, Kimbrell, and the list goes on and on.
It’s time we start educating ourselves and taking a deeper look at everyone who runs for office. A good rule of thumb is to be skeptical of anyone in Washington telling you who to vote for. If they’re pushing you to support a particular candidate, that should raise a red flag and make you ask why they’re advocating for that person.
Vote for the candidate who aligns with your values and principles, not simply the one who has the seal of approval from Washington. South Carolina should come first, not the political establishment.
