Bram Stoker visited Whitby, England, in 1890. Seven years later, he chose this seaside town as the place where Dracula came ashore.
The abbey ruins overlooking the harbor helped inspire the novel, and they're still standing today.

I'm excited to announce that DI Alice Mann Book 3 is in production! I have decided to use Robbie Burns quotes for the titles of this series because he is so closely associated with Ayrshire, where the books are set and his words are so layered and full of meaning. #books β at Churchend, East
