Arkansas Beef!
🔥 Hero of the Day - Weyl Farms Direct, Lincoln AR Todd and Ashley Weyl run 240 acres north of Lincoln, Arkansas split almost evenly between pasture and woodland. The whole system lives at WeylFarmsDirect.com Pastures carry the herd in spring and fall. The trees shade them in summer and hold stockpile forage for winter grazing. The farm has been in operation since 1965. Fifteen years ago the Weyls started learning regenerative grazing. Now observation and electric fencing do the work, and the soil keeps getting better. No feedlots. No shortcuts. Just grass, trees, and patience. Rancher Direct Certified. SAVE BEEF 🇺🇸

I barely scratched the surface of the methane topic in my book. But these two @ffinlocostain and @regenetarianism know how to go deep. The next time someone says with great assurance that "cows are killing the planet", throw this podcast in their direction and tell them to get back to you. I’m often asked how we could feed the nation low carb ? Well we waste 99,000 hectares of land producing sugar ! ‘empty calories’ and addictive into the bargain!! I see growing sugar as similar to being a tobacco farmer . Is that too harsh? @DoctorChrisVT @herdyshepherd1

In China, warrior monks ate meat, non-warrior monks followed a vegetarian diet. In Indian, the warrior caste ate meat, the priestly caste didn't. In Ancient Athens, free citizens ate meat, but the slaves and poor ate grains. In Ancient Greece, Spartan warriors ate the infamous black broth of pork and blood, the helots grains and vegetables. In Mongolia, the warriors ate meat and dairy, their conquered subjects rice and millet. In Africa, the Maasai warriors subsist on milk, blood, and meat, while women and children mostly plants. In Medieval Europe, the nobility and knights ate roast meats and game, while the peasants mostly gruel, bread, and legumes. In Samurai Japan, even the Buddhist discouraged meat, the samurai broke this rule during military campaigns. Perhaps this is why they tell you meat is bad for you...

8 out of 9 of the panel members who wrote the 2004 Cholesterol Guidelines had financial ties to statin makers. Those guidelines lowered the treatment threshold for cholesterol and qualified millions of Americans for statins. That panel lowered the LDL treatment threshold from ≥ 130 mg/dL to ≥ 100 mg/dL. What kind of impact did it have on statin sales? A 2004 BusinessWeek report estimated that the new guidelines could add $5-10 billion in annual statin sales in the U.S. alone over the next few years. T2D ? Just avoid food that spikes your blood sugar 👍
Sugar in and sugar out as it affects people with #T2D For too long I neglected the 'sugar in' bit of the equation. Here i discuss turning off the sugar supply. This can make a huge difference to the quality of T2D control. Info-graphic inspired by @drjasonfung & @VernersViews

I've spotted the trick already. See table in link below. NHS II had just 1% of participants in Group 4. They've compared 1% (G4) with 86% (G1). Why would they do this? To achieve a result. Any result. This is not science. It's propaganda.
FGS! It's relentless! Just ignore all 'public health' messages and you'll be healthier (IMHO)🙄

Dear @DiabetesUK PLEASE don’t forget the best way to improve blood sugar is to avoid not just sugary foods but the starchy foods that digest down into sugar DRUGS ARE A SECOND LINE TREATMENT because they may have side effects @rcgp
...For the first time, our model allows people living with type 2 diabetes to quickly identify the best treatment to manage their blood sugar levels. This offers a major advance on the current approach to choosing diabetes medications.” Dr John Dennis, study lead @ExeterMed
