If this evil, soulless, right-wing ratfucker ends up on city council, I will set myself on fire in Nathan Phillips Square

Check out the guy who was set to co-host Brad Bradford’s campaign event tomorrow
Brad Bradford’s campaign drops an event co-host over Islam comments thestar.com/news/gta/brad-br… From @dmrider via @TorontoStar
Notice who isn't endorsing Brad Bradford for Mayor.
The former Mayor who endorsed him in 2018.
The former Beaches councillor who endorsed him in 2018.
The former Beaches-East York MP or the current MP, who worked closely with him for years.
Pay attention Toronto.

Thank you @beytanveer for your support, and to the residents of Beaches—East York for the warm welcome.
I look forward to working with Tanveer, across the city and across levels of government, to champion our city.
Just had a man call our home phone (from a private number) telling me to stop talking about @bradmbradford on social media and threatening to share information about me if I don't stop. Coward wouldn't even share his name.
Has this happened to anyone?

Oh.
"A Globe and Mail investigation has found that Republican political operatives were on the ground in Alberta this year to assist the separatist campaign in its bid to leave Canada, while harbouring their own aspirations for the province to secede.
The Globe also found that when Alberta separatist leaders went to Washington to meet with the U.S. State Department, they offered up key assets from the province’s resource portfolio, including access to fresh water and royalties on crude oil, in exchange for help transitioning to independence."

I know one way @KingaSurmaMPP could save money for Ontario. She could rip up @fordnation's plan to spend $600,000,000+ of our hard-earned taxpayer dollars on a MegaGarage for a European Spa company and give us back Ontario Place!

Rubbish! There's no doubt who got real action here - @oliviachow. Bradford ignored 500 Dawes Road for 8 years. I know this building and history well: years of violations and enforcement. But it was tenant organizing and the Mayor's intervention that finally got serious results.

WARNING: What Lecce is proposing is a private company managing electricity in Ontario. Capital Power is a private electricity provider from Alberta that has the HIGHEST COST OF ELECTRICITY in Canada. Consumers in AB pay over twice what Ontarians pay now. BEWARE.
Capital Power is an important participant in Ontario's energy buildout, responsible for over 1,700 MW of capacity — from battery storage to natural gas.
Ontario is committed to building a swifter regulatory environment that continues to attract investment and confidence.
That was the basis of our discussion with @CapitalPower CEO Avik Dey and Vice President Matthew Davis to discuss expanding energy partnerships, including our small modular reactor partnership with @opg, as we work to meet growing energy demand.

Your favourite "progressive" influencer told you to strategically vote for Carney.
Now, Carney's being cheered on by Conservative lobbyists for helping to usher in American-style privatization of health care.
Prime Minister Carney is taking a different approach to provincial health care reform.
Rather than discouraging innovation, his government appears open to Alberta testing policies already used in many high-performing universal health care systems around the world – including the policy of letting patients choose between using the public system or paying for private treatment.
When millions of Canadians struggle to access care, new ideas deserve a fair hearing.

When Rob Ford died, Doug Ford, the executor to his will withheld the money Rob left to Renata and his kids. She had to take Doug to court and fight for what was rightfully hers. That’s how much of a dick Doug Ford is. Many of us who’ve been on this site for a long time remember.
#BREAKING: Renata Ford, the wife of the late Rob Ford and sister-in-law of Premier Doug Ford, has died.
