I love serving this church. @FaithPresGF began when the new congregation particularized in the PCA in 1995. In 2007, the church relocated to what was then the Grand Cities Mall (now known as Midtown District), occupying a large office in the profession office wing. In April 2008, the congregation moved into a mall space formerly occupied by a local florist. And then, just over 4 years ago, we moved into this current space (an old Radio Shack). In June 2016, the church decided to transfer into the OPC and was subsequently received as a mission work under Carson/Bismarck (now Mandan). I was called to the pastor on January 15, 2017 and was installed July 31, 2017.
May the Lord continue to grant us his mercy and grace in the years to come. If you're ever in the Grand Forks area, we'd love to have you join us for worship!

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

I go to a conservative Presbyterian church and no one has volunteered to me they are voting for her. Granted we don’t talk politics too much. But I highly doubt many if anyone I know at church is voting for her.
I live in South Carolina and have a fairly large friend group. My friends are typically conservative and church-goers. Most of us are fathers and mothers. Many of us are highly-educated professionals. As far as I can tell, all of us will be voting for @AnnieAndrewsMD. Good luck!
Trump, at his political best, knows how to read a room and use it to his advantage. Trump, at his worst, doubles, triples, quintuples down on absolute inane BS. It's his hubris and narcissism. It's his unregenerate nature on steroids. He's a pagan who needs Jesus.
I have no idea why renaming AI is so bizarrely important to Trump. Nobody cares about the name he chose. Nobody is using it or will use it. And it’s not even technically accurate because “super intelligence” already had an agreed upon, widely adopted definition. This is the weirdest political hill to die on. It gains you nothing. Not a single ordinary American in the country, anywhere, cares deeply about making sure people say “SI” instead of “AI.” We are days away from a major election and this bullshit is the focus? Just baffling.

Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.
