When I am on the calls I try to explain to people only 3 things:
•Data will only work if it’s custom your goals, needs and priorities at any lifecycle of the company
•You don’t need metrics, kps you need actionable insights. Only way to get this is a data partner who understands business side & data side
•Buy-in. Everyone needs to understand the importance of data, metrics, definitions and goals

Medium problem = $$

Small problem = $
Small market + small problem = $$$
Market size determines market turnover, meaning you can accumulate them faster than you can lose them. Plus, how many mistakes can you make and keep growing.
The size of the problem determines how much they're willing to pay to solve it. There is always justification, which is nothing more than a reason, a story they tell themselves "why it's worth it."
All of your business heroes and gurus have used this to bank, but they'll never tell you, so now you know 😉.
