IHere's what Pres.Trump has done for Vladimir Putin since 2017:
🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 First term
1Stood next to Putin in Helsinki and took his word over U.S. intelligence
2Lobbied to bring Russia back into the G7
3Withheld military aid from Ukraine to squeeze Zelensky (impeachment #1)
4Pulled out of Syria, handing Russia a freer hand
5Openly questioned NATO's mutual-defense pledge
6Lifted sanctions on Deripaska-linked companies, including Rusal
7Walked away from the INF nuclear treaty
8Walked away from the Open Skies treaty, leaving our European allies with less visibility
🇺🇸➡️🇷🇺 Second term
9. Called Russia's G7 expulsion a "mistake"
10. Declared Moscow "holds all the cards"
11. Opened talks with Russia with zero preconditions
12. Berated Zelensky in the Oval Office, then paused aid and intel to Ukraine
13. Halted offensive cyber operations against Russia
14. Had the U.S. vote WITH Russia against a UN resolution condemning the invasion
15. Said "Crimea will stay with Russia"
16. Rolled out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska
17. Pressed Ukraine, not Russia, to give up territory
18. Starshield
19. Diesel
20. Revoke Graham sanctions
That's not "America First."
You could never make that list of things a President has done for Zelensky, or for NATO. Ask yourself why.

i guess the meme is that Dario is awkward, but it is kind of weird how eager the other CEOs are to participate in a public knee-bending ceremony like this. you'd hope more of them would be visibly uncomfortable!

In 18 months in office, Trump and his family have accumulated billions of dollars. Even if/after Trump leaves office, this wrongfully obtained fortune will offer a resource for power-seeking by his heirs. Other democracies have reclaimed plundered wealth from fallen autocrats. This morning, Meta agreed to substantial design changes to its social media platforms as part of a legal settlement with 47 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.
This is a pivotal moment for kids' online experience. It sends a strong signal that design-based approaches to safety are possible, popular, and trending toward wide adoption.
The changes to Meta’s social media products compelled by this settlement are largely in line with safety-by-design measures we have long advocated for, and which some states have successfully implemented.
We’ve known for years how to reform toxic social media platforms. It’s a relief to see it finally happening for all teen users in the United States.
These much-needed design remedies will make American kids happier, healthier, and safer, at a marginal cost to the company’s bottom line. That said, the work won’t stop at implementation. We need meaningful and continuous enforcement to ensure that Meta upholds its commitments and that safeguards are not easily bypassed by users.
There’s still more that must be done. Because these settlement terms are only applicable to Meta products, major gaps remain. We still need new state and federal laws to ensure all platforms — including AI products that have adopted many of the same engagement tactics seen in social media — are safe by design for all users.

Georgia audited its own data center tax breaks and found that the state gave up $474 million in sales taxes in one year—and got back just $41 million from the industry. At least 38 states have deals like this. (It's not clear whether all that money the state waived was needed to attract the construction: in Georgia's case, by the state's own estimate, 70% of the data center construction would have happened anyway.)

Citizens United has destroyed the democracy.
In January 2010, Justice Scalia rendered a separate but equal democracy.
He said if you have money, it’s your First Amendment right to push unlimited amounts of it into any political cause or candidate you want.
Donations are up nine times in 16 year and we skewed the entire legislative agenda toward big business, big food, big pharma, corporate tax cuts, tax cuts for the rich.
We are no longer serving the people. We are serving the donors.

This raises massive questions about capital misallocation, government neutrality, and cronyism, says @scottlincicome on @MSNOWNews.

You came to Milwaukee 13 years ago as a kid from Sepolia with an impossible dream. Over the past 13 years we have witnessed you grow into one of the greatest players the game has ever seen, the greatest Buck of all time, and the driving force behind an era of Bucks basketball that will be remembered forever.
From the moment you arrived, you embraced Milwaukee as your home. You embraced the team, the community, and everyone who believed in you. Your connection with Bucks fans transcended basketball. You didn’t just play basketball in Milwaukee, you became the heart and soul of this city. You touched lives throughout our community and inspired people across the world. You believed in this city and its fans when the rest of the world doubted.
After 50 years, you delivered a championship to Milwaukee. A dream come true for generations of Bucks fans who never stopped believing. You gave Milwaukee hope. You taught us that loyalty still matters. That hard work can overcome impossible odds, and that a small-market city could still be on top all because you refused to stop believing. For one night, Milwaukee wasn’t just watching history, we were living it together.
Your legacy in Milwaukee is secured and will always be felt here. In the rafters, throughout the community, in the countless people you inspired, and the way you made an entire city believe that anything was possible.
Thank you for believing in Milwaukee and giving everything you had to this city day in and day out. You transformed the Bucks in every way, and left your mark on this organization for generations to come. You’ll always be family. You’ll always be Milwaukee’s champion. Forever a part of this city. Forever a Buck. Thank you for everything, Giannis.

My husband and I are honored and thrilled to participate in the Invest America program and gift a share of our SpaceX stock to a Trump Account for each of more than two million children across our great nation.
Every American child under 18 can benefit from having a Trump Account, but our gift specifically goes to the Accounts of children (ages 11-17) that live in areas with lower average household incomes with a bit more emphasis for those that live near our central Texas home.
We have been fortunate in our careers and hope this gift encourages the next generation to continue the journey of enabling humanity to live and fly amongst the stars.
A huge thanks to all that worked to bring this incredible program to life.
Dear America,
Starting today, on the 250th birthday of our country, millions of children will now benefit from a new & powerful American birthright - a privately owned investment account from birth. Every child a shareholder in the great American economy!
American capitalism is the greatest prosperity-creating engine the world has ever known. It has unlocked unprecedented abundance for our country and untold life-advancing innovation. From clean food & water to cars & planes to vaccines & cures to computers & phones. Through depressions & world wars, through panics & pandemics, betting on America has been the best investment in human history.
But far too many hardworking families feel like they are on the outside looking in - like the American Dream has become out of reach.
The Invest America Act changes all that. Signed into law by President Trump it establishes the Trump Accounts - launching today - making every child a shareholder from birth. Every account seeded with $1000 in America's best companies - making every child a direct participant in our stock markets & American capitalism.
But it doesn’t stop there. Representing the best of our civic traditions, an unprecedented outpouring of additional private contributions into these accounts is already underway. Billions of dollars have been committed by philanthropists & corporations to tens of millions of children across the country. A new form of massive, direct philanthropy & corporate benefits directly to America’s kids is just getting started. From adopting all the kids of a school or organization to a city or state. America is the most giving country in the history of the world - and Trump Accounts provide a new open source platform to enable anybody to contribute to anybody.
Trillions of dollars will compound in these accounts over the next 20 years.
But this is about more than just figures on an account statement. By investing in the next generation, our country is providing tangible opportunities to all future generations of Americans: an education, a first home, the ability to start a business, and the foundation for a lifetime of savings. Trump Accounts provide hope to those feeling hopeless - unlocking unlimited human potential.
Trump Accounts do this through a massive public - private partnership that empower the individual not the state. They double down on free market capitalist democracy by empowering the individual rather than growing dependency on government. Aligning citizens with capitalism rather than pitting them against it.
Perhaps of equal importance, let us not lose sight of the fact that this is a movement that unites our country. Despite the many issues that divide us, this one big idea brings everyone together. From the most conservative to the most progressive leaders, we have found people of goodwill willing to step up and do the right thing to help the next generation.
Trump Accounts represent the very best of our democracy and the American promise issued two hundred and fifty years ago today. I am grateful to all those who have partnered with us to get this far and we dedicate our tireless efforts to make certain that the Invest America Act achieves its maximum potential. Let us advance into the future with a renewed sense of confidence, optimism and restored faith in the American Dream for EVERY American.
Happy 250th Birthday, America!
