If someone sees you as a priority, you wouldn’t have to spend so much time proving that you are one.

Stay away from people who lack self-awareness and accountability. If you can’t be honest with yourself about your own bullshit, you’ll never be honest with me. I refuse to keep explaining basic accountability to grown adults.

No one is given more grace than a person with a terrible character whom everyone has simply accepted for who they are.

The neurodivergent ick when you realize mid-convo that correcting them is pointless because they'd need self-awareness and emotional intelligence to even process that they're wrong.

I have a serious problem with certain V-Tubers who play the whole “I’m not political” card.
You’re in an industry largely made up of women, many of whom are disabled or queer, a lot of them artists. Their lives & livelihoods are constantly at risk.
You should care.

I'm increasingly convinced that the willingness to change your mind is the ultimate sign of intelligence. The most impressive people I know change their minds often in response to new information. It's like a software update. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.

Disliking me is so valid. I probably confronted you on your inappropriate behavior while everyone else around you validates and accepts it

For centuries, the Romani people have endured slavery, persecution, forced assimilation, genocide and displacement. Empires have tried to control us, governments have tried to silence us and entire societies have tried to erase us.
And yet, we are still here.
Our language is more than a means of communication. It carries the memories of our ancestors, the wisdom of our elders, the stories of our families and the history of a people who refused to disappear.
Every word spoken in Romani is a connection to those who came before us. Every child who learns our language carries that inheritance into the future.
Language is culture. Language is identity. And for a people who have spent centuries fighting to preserve both, language is resistance.
We are scattered across continents, divided by borders and speaking many dialects, but our shared linguistic heritage reminds us that we are part of something greater than the nations in which we live.
To preserve our language is to preserve our right to tell our own stories, define our own identities and determine our own future.
We do not need permission to exist. We do not need permission to remember. And we will not apologise for refusing to be forgotten.
Our ancestors kept our language alive through centuries of oppression. The least we can do is make sure our descendants inherit it.

Valve has changed how to verify your age for Australian Steam users.
Instead of requiring a credit card, there is a new option now:
- Automatic Age Verification: "your account age verified if it is at least nine years old and has had a consistent email address or billing info."
i genuinely believe the ideology that you can "co-exist with people with different political views" is a load of bullshit. if your political views threaten the rights of any of my mutuals, friends and family i don't want anything to do with you

The RBA has just hiked rates to a near 20-year high. This will send living costs soaring & spike unemployment - WHICH IS EXACTLY WHY THEY'RE DOING IT!
It's absolute madness. If our economy can only be saved by making millions suffer, maybe it's time we built a different economy.
