Some of the Chiefs takes are the usual unserious ones They drafted a franchise LT in 25 in the first round. Unfortunately it seems he’s not playing this season. They spent money on the best free agent signing (Walker) When Rice and Thornton were both healthy the passing attack was very good. Hard for any offense to function in Seattle down two OTs, 2 WRs

He did have 🗑️ WR coach until this year though.

Had a lot of hope for Xavier Worthy as a prospect. There was a lot of talent there but the issues, even some I overlooked for the potential, have been magnified and turned up to 11 in the NFL. Speed is great to have but he has no idea how to weaponize it.

Isn’t Karlaftis leading or at least close to leading the league in pressures? Jones though….
Ryan Landreth@ryan_landrethOct 25
If Chase Young can get 7 sacks on a $1.5 million salary, is it reasonable to expect George Karlaftis and Chris Jones to combine for more than the 1 they have with their $66 million cap hit?

We need pass catchers yes but man our pass protection is terrible.

Meh. Always has this as a non-conference away loss. But god lord need 1-2 pass catchers.

Can’t win them all, but when you do lose, you don’t want to be embarrassed, and tonight, every coach and player got embarrassed on national TV #ChiefsKingdom

Thankfully the Chiefs have a lot of games to fix this.

Cyrus Allen leads all Chiefs wide receivers in receiving yards. He has not caught a pass since the first drive.

Cyrus Allen is the Chiefs leading receiver in this game. Stop the count.

This seems relevant right now. The Chiefs have ran just 9 snaps under center, according to Next Gen Stats.

Josh Simmons’ Chiefs tenure so far: • No. 32 pick in 2025 • $14.68M fully guaranteed • Missed 4 games for a private family matter • Thanksgiving wrist injury ended his rookie year: 8 starts • Back injury, second opinion and no games played in 2026 • Reid AND Mahomes tell him to leave a meeting; later apologizes • Placed on IR the next day because of his back The injuries explain the availability. Having your head coach AND franchise QB tell you to leave a meeting raises a whole different set of questions.

Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

I hate that KC is only down 2 scores and Andy has abandoned Pat playing under center.
