Some of the Chiefs takes are the usual unserious ones
They drafted a franchise LT in 25 in the first round. Unfortunately it seems he’s not playing this season.
They spent money on the best free agent signing (Walker)
When Rice and Thornton were both healthy the passing attack was very good.
Hard for any offense to function in Seattle down two OTs, 2 WRs

Can’t win them all, but when you do lose, you don’t want to be embarrassed, and tonight, every coach and player got embarrassed on national TV

Cyrus Allen leads all Chiefs wide receivers in receiving yards.
He has not caught a pass since the first drive.

This seems relevant right now. The Chiefs have ran just 9 snaps under center, according to Next Gen Stats.

Josh Simmons’ Chiefs tenure so far:
• No. 32 pick in 2025
• $14.68M fully guaranteed
• Missed 4 games for a private family matter
• Thanksgiving wrist injury ended his rookie year: 8 starts
• Back injury, second opinion and no games played in 2026
• Reid AND Mahomes tell him to leave a meeting; later apologizes
• Placed on IR the next day because of his back
The injuries explain the availability. Having your head coach AND franchise QB tell you to leave a meeting raises a whole different set of questions.

Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

The right tackle play tonight is untenable for the #Chiefs. Get well soon, Jaylon Moore.

Here's your chance boys. Even a FG here puts immense pressure on the Seahawks next drive.

I hate that KC is only down 2 scores and Andy has abandoned Pat playing under center.

Nice rush from Karlaftis to beat Lucas. At least the Chiefs are stopping Seattle in the red zone. 2 FG forced and the INT. Could be a disaster of a 24-0 game VERY easily right now

With this drive, the Seahawks have possessed the ball twice as much as the Chiefs & will have run twice as many plays on the next snap.

The good news: That 3rd down had a legitimate pass rush win by R Mason Thomas!
The bad news: Check-down and missed tackles resulted in a conversion for Seattle

The difference between these teams on 3rd downs on both sides of the ball is mind boggling.

Chiefs came into game 8th best in league allowing 35.7% conversion on 3rd down. Seahawks are 9 for 11 so far tonight

Patrick Mahomes was pressured by the Seahawks on 8 of his 15 dropbacks in the first half (53%), including an interception & just 37 yards.
