It's officially 5 days from Election Day, and I said that if polls didn't tighten by now, that Talarico would be the narrow favorite to win Texas. Ken Paxton certainly still has a path and can win, but as of now, HillCast has Talarico as a 55/45 favorite.

GOP sources say the President's team was getting a flurry of phone calls last night - even before he left Ohio - asking for more in person events. With time the only real finite resource, White House opting for more tele-rallies. Sunday rally in Iowa still up in the air.

Governor DeSantis says Republican turnout is disappointing. Says Democrats are doing a better job getting out the vote this year. “In 2022 when I was running you could put hot coals in front of the polling place and people were going to walk over them barefoot. They wanted to vote.”

Can confirm. I live in Collin County. Paxton by 8+ and Abbott by 15+ incoming. Talarico continues to cancel events and TV ads. They know it’s over. The Calvary has arrived. Most of us show up on Election Day. Blue wave cancelled folks!
